I am currently spending a holiday there and have already been there a week, another 4 days to go though I wish I only booked a week. It is a very nice clean hotel and it could be a wonderful place to spend a holiday if they had a real animation team and evening entertainment. The hotel is big and there is a choice of pools and a nice beach area...
The breakfast is correct. The room size is reasonnable with a very nice shower but the view was the least desirable I ever had. Prior to our arrival I requested if we could have a lower floor and a sea view. They answere they would do their best to accommodate. We had a 3rd floor room at fhe far end of the building with a street view with a vis a vis. I think they definitely could have made some efforts since the hotel was occupied at less than 50%. When I arrived they made us believe that room occupancy was spaced out and that is why there was no availability for a sea view or at least a better view. However, I quickly noticed that was not true because I had neighbours next door and could see from the pool by looking at balconies that lots of rooms were occupied though they were next to each other. I booked this hotel because the description was saying that there would be day animation and evening entertainment. However, the aimation was barely existing and boring. Programme of aqua gym, aqua stretching and darts was not respected. The boring animation team which consisted in a couple were spending most of their time in the pool playing water games such as volley ball and water polo. The evening entertainment consisted in live music only on Frday and Saturday in a small cafe that had no space to sit. Because of covid 19, the gym and internal pool were opening at 09:00 and closing at 19:00 which was not great as I normally enjoy early morning or late afternoon gym. The sauna was closed due to Covid 19 which I can understand but why reducing the gym and pool opening hours? This is not a place where I will return.
A beautiful hotel to visit. Food is just incredible, rooms are clean and there are several pools and even a private beach area.
Only thing I would be aware of is that in our room the toilet door did not close completely which was a little uncomfortable.
This been said it was an amazing stay and would highly recommend...
If we could we would give 10 out of 5 stars to Amazonia Complex! Everything here is absolutely fantastic!
RESTAURANT: We have eaten here almost everyday for a week, and tried so many different things on the menu - all amazing food which can be enjoyed just next to the sea. The staff was always helpfull and very friendly.
BAR: The bar is great! Friendly staff and well located next to the lounge area!
INFINITY POOL/SEA: What’s not to like? Bar, toilets and showers near by - and as a guest at Hotel Dolmen (which we also highly recommend!) you can book cosy sunbeds for 25€ FOR A WHOLE DAY!
We simply love everything about Amazonia Complex and can’t wait to come back! :)
We had a very enjoyable stay at the hotel for 3 days. The hotel room was great and we had a wonderful sea view. The pool areas were comfortable, well serviced and clean...
We felt quite safe despite the current covid situation. The reception manager was very polite and helpful. We would also like to recommend the fantastic steak house CARVV at the hotel. We really had a great meal and staff were very nice.
Excellent service, especially in view of the current restrictions - we were on half board basis and the dinner had excellent choice at the restaurant near the pool. The reception manager and his team were excellent in accommodating our stay, particularly in attending our complaint to furnish an extra mattress for our sons who were sleeping on a sofa bed - the reception manager was very responsive and fast to resolve the matter. Great service...
Would definitely recommend.
