Superb Steakhouse in St Paul’s Bay!
Last minute decision to book a place we frequented often last year before it closed for renovations. Both food and service excellent and didn’t disappoint. Both Mohammed and Luis looked after us expertly and couldn’t have been more attentive. Well done! Highly recommended and looking forward to returning soon.

Would visit the hotel again.
Booked this hotel for a week’s stay 13th - 20th May 2024. The hotel was clean and well kept. Staff were always well turned out, polite and professional. We were half board and had no real complaints about the food. Construction work was still ongoing and they worked long days. The Spa was not finished and the gym was poor. We were told it should all be finished by next year. All in all an enjoyable stay despite the above. Also walking distance from the bus station. (the buses weren't very reliable though). We would not hesitate in going back.
Excellent for rest and further tours of Malta, right behind the hotel is the main bus station.
An unforgettable experience. The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, towels were changed daily. The room is cleaned daily. All three pools were clean, the sunbeds neat and new. There are special towels for sunbeds. Excellent location, right behind the hotel is a bus station from which you can go to all parts of Malta. I would especially praise Tanja, Alexa and Nisha from the reception, always with good advice. Biljana and Marina from the restaurant have a wonderful special attitude towards children and the elderly.
Maybe a bottle of water could be waiting for the guests in the room, until the first opportunity until they get used to it.

Very Accommodating Helpful Staff, Wonderful Mediterranean View!
We asked for a high floor with a great view, and they were able to assign a room with an expansive view, terrific! The room was small, but we managed, and we enjoyed our stay. The front desk manager also helped us with a first aid kit when my husband bruised his arm. The friendly staff at the reservation desk helped us with car service too! It was a very pleasant stay at a good location; a short walk to Bugibba Square with good restaurants and a bit further away was the pier with boat tours going to Comino and Gozo. We recommend the Dolmen Hotel when visiting this area of Malta.

Lovely hotel
Stayed in this lovely hotel for a week in October. Room was very clean and spacious. Lovely big balcony only 2 chairs even though there were four of us? Great air con lovely big shower a d plenty of storage. Also had a fridge which you could use without charge.
We stayed half board and the food was really good for 6 of our days. There was a European billiards competition and the restaurant catered for them and the hotel guests were moved toward the back of the restaurant this wasn’t a problem but on this night we did struggle for something to eat. The choice wasn’t as good as previous nights.
The only negative thing I would have to say is that the Amazonia complex was closed for refurbishment. This meant that instead of the advertised 6 pools our children had actually 3 to choose form. Now three is fine and it didn’t ruin our holiday at all but I felt we should have been informed that it was shut.
The hotel Is closing and being refurbished and taken over by the Hilton group and I felt very fortunate to get to stay in it as the Dolmen family hotel.
