Good hotel, Shaon very good kept our room very clean.

Zi was the best he show us a great experience food was so good hotel was great can’t wait to come back
Before departing we had some questions about the hotel and the responses were swiftly and professionally answered. On arriving the reception area was clean and well presented. The lady at the desk was fairly new but coped very well. She did require some assistance. We had exchanged our timeshare for this holiday and were surprised to see that we were on a bed and breakfast basis. On checking in we changed that to an all inclusive deal, which was the best thing we did.An absolutely bargain for what we paid. This comes highly recommended. We also ate out at a couple of restaurants in the town but still all inclusive the way to go. When checking in I enquired if it was a sea facing room and was advised that as it was s timeshare swap we were not entitled to that type of room, rather disappointing but to be honest we did not really need it as we were out the room most of the time. But would have been lovely to have. Our room was very airy, light and clean and served it's purpose. During our stay housekeeping did let themselves down. On the second day our room was not made up and we were told that because we had a Do Not Disturb sign up that is why they did not make up the room. But even after making this enquiring they still did not return, also we asked for toilet paper, milk and coffee but only milk and coffee were sent. The next 2 days we did not have any tissues in the bathroom. There were boxes in the bathroom for shower caps extra but they were actually empty. We did not enquire why. Otherwise our stay in the room was OK. We were able to visit all the restaurants in the hotel, including the speciality ones. We booked these via their online app, however we decided to confirm these with reception only to find nothing on their system, so we re-booked via reception. Just as well. Their app is not reliable. I have noticed other guests had the same issue. Visiting all the restaurant is a mus if you can as you can experience different cultures and tastes. Some where not to our liking but glad we tried. There is such a vast selection of food at the main restaurant you cannot complain about the variety. The pool area was clean and well maintained. The pool bars were well stocked and the staff very friendly. As per normal there will always be those that place their towel on the sunbeds and disappear for hours. The downside to the pool area was the number of sunbeds there were which were so close together you could hardly move. As for people cuing up an half hour before the pool opened so they can get their favourite bed. The animation team did a fantastic effort, with their various games, in entertaining the guests. The pool on the roof was great as it catered for the more mature person and was not as crowded as the other pools. Rather strange to walk through an underground car park and private restaurant to get to the beach. You can get there by crossing a main road if you wish. The our side of the hotel needs a little TLC but this does not distract from a lovely stay. Overall we had a lovely stay and would we recommend db San Antonio, yes we would. Well done to Management and staff
Very good hotel for families but also has (quiet) adult only areas Thanks to Cedric and Prakash for excellent service in the Asian rooftop restaurant
