66 Saint Paul's is set in a recently restored and modernised 17th century palazzo, located in Malta's capital city of Valletta. This beautiful property offers, personalised service and luxurious accommodation, in an architectural gem of a building.
All bedrooms have been individually designed in a classic contemporary style. Where possible, and particularly in the older part of the building, the owners have tried to retain many of the original features, and there are many! Consequently, all rooms are slightly different both in size and character. Each is perfectly appointed with a writing desk, flat screen TV and Nespresso coffee machines. Larger rooms have the added benefit of traditional Maltese balconies or private sun terraces. Bathrooms are modern, and all come equipped with a walk-in shower or bath and Molton Brown amenities.
Within the central courtyard, guests and visitors can sit and enjoy the majestic features of the Palazzo whilst savouring a light snack, a glass of wine or a warm cup of coffee. This is an open air courtyard, however boasts of a retractable glass ceiling for duller days.
The breakfast room is located just next to the courtyard, so guests can make use of this space whenever they wish.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Had a wonderful 4 night stay. Small beautifully restored residence with rooftop pool with views over the Harbour. Breakfasts were enjoyed in the atmospheric central courtyard. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Highlight for us was Edwin who shared a locals view of life in Malta, including information and stories around Maltese festivals and local customs
Great hotel centrally located and near everything you would want to visit.
The welcome and checking in by the night manager on the desk was brilliant. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is good with a range of things to suit most tastes.
The rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean.
The building itself is impressive and the pool area is comfortable.
Would highly recommend this hotel.
This is a brilliant hotel. We stayed in 502 which is a deluxe harbour view room. We had a superb view of the 3 cities & a sun terrace with loungers. You are a short stroll from all the restaurants & things to do in the city yet the room was quiet. The hotel is a beautiful building & the staff are helpful & friendly. We couldn't fault the breakfasts which were excellent - really plentiful & varied. I would highly recommend & wouldn't hesitate to return.
We had a wonderful stay at 66 St Pauls. Great location, beautiful decor. Fantastic breakfast buffet with everything home made. Lovely pool area, I would imagine it gets very busy in the summer but we had no problem getting a sunbed in early May. But what makes this hotel special is the staff, with a special mention for Michael who made our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. I had mentioned it was my Mum's birthday and the staff sang to her and brought her cake at breakfast which was a wonderful touch! Thoroughly recommended.
We're lucky to stay in the penthouse suite, room 601. Fantastic view of the harbor over looking pool area below. This room is huge with a separate living area with large balcony. Breakfast was adequate. Staff was very engaged and helpful. Only complaint was we emailed ahead to schedule a tour and they came back with two options, we chose one in a return email which they acknowledged. Then we didn't hear back for 5 days so we emailed them and they said it was no longer available and buy that time done of our other options were not available. I think they just dropped the ball, but they were very engaged on every question once we arrived. A reminder when taking an Uber or Bolt from the hotel to use 290 st paul for your pick up or drop off. For some reason using the hotel address of 66 st paul doors of some distance away. 290 st paul is across the street. Your drive may not be familiar with the hotel and miss it like ours did.
