This was my husbands first trip (my 2nd) and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff made us feel so welcome. Check-in was warm and friendly and being offered water and prosecco on arrival was a lovely touch.
Our room wasn’t quite ready when we arrived, but we were reassured it would be as soon as possible and received a text the moment it was available. The rooms are as the pictures; spacious and beautiful.
We were celebrating a special birthday and the hotel went above and beyond to make it memorable. The room had been decorated exactly as requested, prosecco and beautiful handmade cakes were waiting for us, a perfect start to the celebrations!
Breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of choice and the rooftop views from the restaurant each morning were a real highlight.
The biggest compliment has to go to all of the hotel staff, they were absolutely tremendous from start to finish. A special mention for Aleksandar, Guest Relations Manager, who was friendly, attentive and genuinely couldn’t do enough for his guests.
We left the hotel feeling really well looked after a fantastic stay, we would absolutely return. Thank you everyone for taking such good care of us.
We had a very good experience at this hotel. It is very well located in the heart of the city and therefore within easy walking distance of all the main attractions in Valletta. The staff (particularly the night staff man on reception)were very polite and attentive. Prosecco on arrival in reception is a nice touch. Our room (402) was a good size, clean and nicely furnished and not noisy. The jewel in the crown of this hotel is their rooftop pool and bar areas. Perfect for a little bit of sunbathing, relaxation and with fantastic views across the city. Good quality breakfast was served in the morning.
The hotel is in a great central location with the most stunning rooftop in Valletta!

Smart boutique hotel with modern rooms and spacious well equipped bathroom. Customer service varies by staff member, Imam was delightful and Francois was friendly and helpful. Welcome drink on arrival, and weekly drinks reception. Rooftop restaurant does have amazing views but is open to the public and you have to walk through it to get to and from the bijou pool area. If you have a late flight you are able to use the hotel lounge and access the rooftop, but there is nowhere to shower and only the restroom to change. Some rooms level 1 & 2 only have windows onto the internal bar and the accompanying noise at times.
We recently celebrated a very special occasion at The Courtyard at The Embassy Hotel, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place.
From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely wonderful. The ambience was beautiful, elegant and welcoming, making it the perfect setting for our afternoon tea and bachelorette celebration. The atmosphere was lovely and really helped make the occasion feel extra special.
The food was delicious, with a wonderful selection of savoury items and desserts, and everything was beautifully presented. The afternoon tea was exactly what we had hoped for and our guests thoroughly enjoyed it.
A special mention definitely goes to all the staff, who were incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive throughout the event. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble, and they helped everything run smoothly while making us feel genuinely welcomed and looked after.
The whole experience, from the setting and food to the service, exceeded our expectations. It was clear that a lot of care went into making sure we had a memorable celebration, and The Courtyard was simply perfect for the occasion.
A huge thank you to the entire team at The Embassy Hotel for helping us create such a beautiful and memorable day. We would happily recommend The Courtyard to anyone looking for a special venue in Valletta — and we would definitely return!
