Pool and guest services
- Given a disabled room
- Pool ONLY open form 10:30 after breakfast in the restaurant finished - so forcing you to go out at the worst time of the day to sunbath
- Small pool - very few sun beds
- one evening forgot our key - had to wait 20 mins at front desk as it was unmanned - called them - Sent them a what’s app message as per the sign - in the end had to go to the restaurant on 7 th floor to get some one - thankfully it was NOT an emergency other wise what would you have to do - by law it has to be manned 24 hr (or some one available there etc)
Lovely rooftop restaurant
The view is terrific but the dishes as well. We had the luncheon special of octopus skewers followed by auberge raviolini both very inventive and delicious! The restaurant’s hostess was lovely and warned us about the noon heat while eating on the terrace. We went for it anyway and when it did indeed get too hot, the staff were all gracious about using changing places. Highly recommended!

Good hotel in a fantastic location
We had 4 nights here and it's a good hotel in a really great location. Step out the front door and you are in the centre of Valletta, with all this fabulous town has to offer. We booked a superior room with terrace and a sea view, and it was very good. Good size, comfortable bed and nice bathroom with a walk-in shower. However the sea view required us to leave the room and go up some steps to a little terrace; the room actually faced a brick wall. Unlike many reviewers, we had no issue with street noise and slept well every night. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The roof top terrace is a great place to have a drink while looking out over the town, a great experience. The restaurant up top gets very busy and you'll need to book ahead of time to get in. We didn't eat here so cannot comment. Breakfast is disappointing. Same place as the restaurant, it gets very busy and space is tight. The offering is unimaginative and tends to run out. We chose to eat breakfast elsewhere for the last couple of days, cheaper and much better. We used the hotel taxi service to and from the airport and recommend it. Good drivers, and a fair price - you'll not get ripped off. We would stay here again, maybe ask for a room with a direct sea view and take breakfast off site.

Lovely hotel and walkable to all of Valetta
Lovely hotel and ideally placed for all activities in and around Valetta. Rooftop bar, pool, cinema and near everything!

Great location
The property is beautiful and it’s in a terrific location. The rooftop pool is terrific and the rooms were spacious. The front desk staff were very responsive and helpful.
We did have some issues with our shower not working properly (no hot water) and the breakfast was good, but not great. Also, the staff on the rooftop were somewhat difficult to deal with.
