Booked this via Jet2 very last minute. So pleasantly surprised when we arrived. From reception staff and throughout our stay it was simply wonderful. Accommodation is fantastic for self catering and has everything that you need. Comfortable clean space that seems like home from home. Pool area is clean with comfortable sunbeds. We found the supermarkets close by quite expensive so it is about a 15 minute walk to the nearest one and 20mins to Aldi. There is also an amazing little beach to your right as you leave the hotel with a lovely little restaurant. Great base for catching the tourist train into the old town but again this is not a long walk. Would certainly return to these apartments if coming back to Albuferia. However, note it may be noiser in the summer if the Kiss nightclub is open.
Fantastic hotel — spotless rooms, amazing staff, great location and value. Everything was smooth, relaxing, and better than expected. Brilliant amenities. Not noisy. We had a bottle of wine and coffee pods waiting on us upon arrival. Highly recommend. We had the best time and we will definitely return to this hotel in the future.
10 day stay at this hotel. The apartments are lovely and big. Cleaners are fantastic, come in every day and do a great job. We went self catering, if you are doing the same there is an Aldi about 15 to 20 min walk, worth going as so much cheaper than the supermarkets across the road. The bar at the hotel is expensive and they only take card no cash. Near to the strip but didn’t bother us and we were not disturbed by any noise. There is a nightclub across the road again didn’t bother us. Plenty of Sun Loungers.
We loved our apartment stay here this week! The staff were lovely and friendly to start with! The apartment was well equipped and had lovely views! It was a cheap taxi ride into old town and walking distance from the strip! The beach was within walking distance too! The apartment was so spacious and clean. Would highly recommend this lovely place!
Fantastic Stay – Perfect for a Relaxing Family Break! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We stayed at Areias Village Hotel for 9 nights in October as a family of four (two boys aged 12 & 14), and it was exactly the relaxing holiday we were hoping for!
We’d asked for a quiet room and were given Room 310, which turned out to be one of the best – a spacious corner room with a huge balcony that gets the morning sun and evening sunset. The room had everything we needed – toaster, microwave, hairdryer, safe, cutlery, etc. – and we didn’t hear any noise from the nearby nightclub.
The pool area was lovely and peaceful. We usually went down mid-morning and often had it to ourselves! Always plenty of loungers, and the pool gets sun all day until around 5:30pm. The pool bar serves snacks and drinks with friendly service, though prices are a little high (€5 beer, €4 soft drink).
We arranged our own Uber transfers instead of the package bus – about €25–30 each way and we were at the hotel within an hour of landing, which was ideal.
Weather was perfect for October (23–27°C), warm enough for swimming but not too hot, and the pool wasn’t cold either.
The location is excellent – just a 5-minute walk to the new strip and loads of nearby restaurants. We recommend The Cockerel for great food and big portions. We preferred the Old Town, full of charm and shops – about 15–20 minutes’ walk or a short €3–4 Uber ride.
All the staff were fantastic – welcoming, helpful, and always smiling, from reception to cleaners and bar staff.
Overall: brilliant value for money. We booked through Love Holidays and honestly couldn’t fault it. Would 100% recommend Areias Village Hotel and would happily return in the future.
Thanks for a wonderful stay!
