Room Cleaning or Maybe not 🤔
This is the 3rd time we have been here I have never had any issues except this holiday. We originally booked for the the beginning of June but had to change it to the 16th for 10 nights we always book the VIP rooms but for some reason we were allocated a small room as we are still here and I can't check my old paperwork whether it was me which I doubt or whether it was the hotel or the travel agency I will check when I get home. We stayed in room 005 Never again don't request this one as you don't get it cleaned till after 4pm which is crazy. As we like a siesta in the afternoons ready for going out in the evenings this in not ideal This has put us off coming again the Area is beautiful but I will change my hotel after this. Not at all Happy .... by the way I complained at 3.30pm it is now 4.25pm and no one has showed up I'm sat in the bar waiting 😕

Clean and quiet
A tidy very clean hotel, the staff were very pleasant except the owner ( or his father) was not particularly accommodating. The cat skulking around the dining area was not to my liking. The hotel is close to some restaurants and a big shop. A decent walk to the beach areas but unless you are fit, don't attempt the walk to the strip. It was a very quiet area and the rooms were more than adequate with a large shower.

Great location close to resterau nts and beach.Service and rooms were great.Pool was never to busy and never had a problem wifh sunbeds.Staff were exceptional in every aspect.

Good quiet hotel
Lovely quiet hotel, the cleaning and bar staff were very good. But I never saw any Management or anyone attending reception after we first checked in. Fortunately I didn’t have any major issues that needed attention but it would have been nice to see Management showing more interest in their guests.

Our Portuguese Gem
Our third stay at this hotel and already booked for next year. Staff friendly and very accommodating, rooms spotless and good restaurants nearby. Prices of Ubers were on a par with the local buses but much quicker. Was delighted to find that Torika the cat now aged 26 was still there to greet us and hopefully will still be there next year. My only gripe this time even though it was comical to watch was that the same 2 couples laid claim to the sunbeds around the pool before breakfast each day and then didn’t use them till mid afternoon. I’m quite disappointed that the hotel allowed this to happen. Harry’s bar in Albufeira good for an afternoon snack and a drink. Meals at the Italian restaurant not as good this time so we went for the €17.50 meal deal and enjoyed all of them. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday then look no further than this hotel.
