Wonderful location, as long as you are quite mobile. The hotel is in dire need of refurbishment, but our room had a fantastic view, which would bring me back again. I can understand plastic cups round the pool, but in the main bar, I shall not be returning, until this is changed, such a shame. Food was reasonable, and staff very good except for one of the barmen.
We went with an open mind . We should have stayed in a small hotel in carverio but jet 2 informed us that building work was going on so we changed to this hotel had to pay an extra 100.00. Pounds...
I don’t understand how people can say this hotel is fine!!!! Maybe the pool and it’s close to he beach but nothing else!!!! The rooms are awful and not cleaned properly. Don’t know how other people live but I thought why have I paid to stay in this awful room it was like hostel or worse. We asked to be moved and didn’t unpack. Next day we saw rep and said they would move our room later that day. I told reception that how would she like it arriving there on holiday . She said that’s what you get for the price you pay. I’ve been to better for less. I was in tears I’d of been better having building work going on. We moved rooms which was better but anything would of been. I wanted to change hotels and pay but rep said try this room out. That night showered and bath filled up with water shower curtain from previous occupant obviously hadn’t been changed it was filthy. Balcony floor was filthy tissue on floor in bathroom still there also. It was awful asked for clean shower curtain and had to wait 2 days!!!! The food was ok always something we where half board thank god we hadn’t paid all inclusive. We arrived Tuesday and by Friday I couldn’t stand it anymore . The rep was not there saturday to ask for flight home so booked an easyJet flight home that morning to go home. We packed and left and never been so glad to get home to my lovley home. If I’d if got locked in that hotel while Coronavirus had Been going on. I don’t no what I’d of done. It was to be a break I’m a carer for 3 people. It was awful .like other reviews don’t waste your money stay somewhere else the rooms are awful And they are not clean I had taken dettol wipes . Cleaned the bed side tables and the wipe was black. The window had fingerprints on it. If I can manage to post pictures I will. I am going to send pictures to jet 2. I’m not after any compensation but why they send people there. I have not been with jet 2 before and never again. Pictures show the door to balcony rotted shower curtain dirty bathroom floor and look at the bathroom door broken tiles on balcony floor. They expect you to pay to stay there.
Lovely inexpensive holiday taken in February stay Had a wonderful time , staff were great especially the restaurant staff they couldn't do enough for us. also the entertainment staff especially Yuri and Mandela we loved doing all the activities! I particularly liked the dancing they taught us, and did with on some of the evenings. Food was quite nice and plentiful, if you have a special diet such as Vegan they will cater for you if you ask.Usually excellent service by waitress. The evening entertainment was mostly good. The room had all the amenities if you are all inclusive make sure you get your wrist band straight away, otherwise you won't get a drink. The views were beautiful! Hotel is near the sea you have to go down quite a bit to reach it. The hotel is also on different levels so there is a lot of walking up and down. The only thing that I didn't like was the indoor pool was small, and you have to go outsider a little to get to your room, which can be a bit cold in the winter with no changing rooms or w.c. Meet some really nice people there and the weather was good except for a very cool breeze at times. There is not much of a gym equipment not good.
Yes, hotel is clean and location is more than great, but reception staff is not just rude, they just dont want to know, you, or your matter, it really does not matter to them, and they have worked out a sneaky trick, if you ask for a manager, all of them will tell you, that they are manager, so at some point, you will give it up and they will get away with it. We were queuing for 40 mins to check in, once we got there, nothing, no hi, no hello, no smile, dont expect, sorry to keep you waiting, come on, you must be joking, if you are there or for some reason you will be there, sit down in the reception area and watch them, they never say hello to passing by people, they never smile, and what is more important they never say hello as you come up to them.
And remember this is a family hotel, so you will spot children running around the dancing area late at night do not go to look for a manager, because all of the sudden they will be all managers and they will tell you that if you dont like it you can go to a different hotel, that is what I was told after complaining that some children are running near my table just before 9pm and we were trying to enjoy ourselfs, but, no, not allowed, children need to have fun. Spoke to reception, at first Carla said she was a manager and then she has remind herself that it wasnt her, it was Valter. Seriuosly ? you people do not know who you are ??? and that rude person who accordning to Carla is Valter told me that I can go to a different hotel
Please ignore all theese bad reviews, absolutely not true, dont know whats wrong with these people . just returned back from a ten night stay, staff very friendly, food was really nice very surprised for a three star hotel. Twenty five minute walk up the beach to the old town, or you can take the free bus outside reception...
Ten minute walk to the new town, No free bus.Rooms were dated, but cleaned everyday. Snack bar food had a lot of choices. Only bad thing i could find about this hotel was the bar at reception was not in the all inclusive package big dissapointment, reason why. My wife has osteo athritis she had to try and walk down seventy three steps to get any drinks and of course seventy three steps to come back to room. We could only get coffee or a bottle of water from reception bar. Only after i complained to jet two rep, who was quite helpful. My wife and myself were in room A410. This room was the furthest room away from the beach, restaurant, snack bar and the dancing hall. Snack bar is where you get your all inclusive drinks, opens at eleven and closes at five, then other bar opens. I would not recomend this hotel to anyone with walking difficulties. I would come here again only if i could get a room closer to the snack bar.
