Review by emilyelsie2017 London, United Kingdom

I arrived on a Sunday around lunchtime. I had previously emailed the hotel for an early check In as I had been travelling through the early hours. Once I arrived this had been accommodated for and I went straight to my room which was a great start...

Overall the hotel is quite outdated and not the 4* look. I would probably say a 3* max. The window leading to the balcony had a big crack in it and the balcony floor had cracks and rust all along it.

I did get a nice view of the pool/sunset in evenings. My room was on the fourth floor. Everything is a short ride away by car but walking it’s 45mins+. Not a lot around the area to do which I found frustrating especially on the days where the weather wasn’t great.

My room was spacious but again outdated along with the air con system. You do have WiFi in the room but I found it to be really slow and difficult for things to load on my tablet. It’s been quiet overall whilst I’ve been here, no loud noises or anything like that at night time.

The beaches are around a 45minute walk away or a quick 10 minute taxi ride. Beautiful beaches especially to watch the sunset/sunrise.

I would only recommend this hotel for a cheap/short stay in Portugal.

Good clean quiet hotel

Review by saradK6610IF

Enjoyed my stay. Friendly and helpful staff. The room was good with a kitchen and fridge freezer, front of apartment opened up on to the pi and bar area. Room cleaned everyday, on site gym, 2 swimming pools. Local taxis available, just ask reception and they'll call one for you...

Shuttle service available, I think 2/3 times a day, just que up outside the hotel, plenty to do within a 5 minute drive, 30/40 minute walk. Shops, supermarket ect about 5 euros in a taxi, each way. Quiet but in the day they sometimes play music in the pool area. Shuttle to old town, with plenty of shops, pubs ect. I went alone and was not bored. Key card access to rooms, WiFi and access to a safe. Make sure you visit the intermarche as the onsite shop was shut, I don't know whether that was due to the fact I went in Oct. Beautiful weather all week. Would definitely recommend for families, couples and solo.

Baleia Atlantico

Review by X4929RVjoeb Cascais, Portugal

I stayed at this hotel with my 3 teenage daughter's in August 2020. The hotel was clean and staff very attentive to our requests. The apartment was modern and very good furniture...

Big bathroom and great powerful shower. The breakfast was plentiful and served on the 5th floor with stunning views over the large swimming pool and surrounding area. My girls had a wonderful time, wouldn't hesitate staying at this hotel again. JB

Quiet and peaceful

Review by carolt282 newcastle upon tyne

Set in quiet residential countryside. Excellent apartments very clean. All staff very helpful...

About 20mins walk into centre of albufeira. About 20mins to beach. You can buy a few essentials on site at the small bar. Across the small country road into a residential sport complex a small supermarket that stocks quite a lot of supplies. In centre of Albufeira large supermarkets where you can stock up and they phone taxi for you about€5. If you want an away from it all this is the place.
