Currently on day 5 of a 10 day stay and so far I’m impressed. Understandably it’s not very busy (I’d estimate only 40/50% capacity). Check in was smooth and we were met with smiles at reception and COVID precautions are in place and being adhered to...
Shortly after checkin we were emailed further instructions for safety around the hotel.
We have a one bedroom apartment with a pool view on the fifth floor. It’s huge, can easily sleep 4 with twin beds in the bedroom and 2 comfy sofa beds. The are self catering facilities but they are limited to 2 hobs and a microwave. Perfectly adequate for our needs but I wouldn’t fancy trying to cook for a family everyday. The apartment was extremely clean and the are visited daily by the cleaners and toiletries with towels replaced daily.
The hotel offers a large outdoor pool which is a little cold in the mornings but pleasant late afternoon and much fun has been had poolside. There is also a bar poolside offering pints of Super Boc at 3€ and tuna baguettes (very nice) at 5€. So far that’s all I have ordered there as there are many good bars local to the aparthotel.
The location is the main selling point here. Centrally located it’s a 10 minute walk to our preferred night spot, The Old Town. The new town is approximately a 15-20 minute walk in the other direction but we visited there by taxi (£4€).
Next to hotel is a large and reasonably priced supermarket where you can get anything you need from bread & milk to garden furniture. On the other side (and attached to the hotel) is a restaurant/patisserie which serves decent food. Across from the hotel is a KFC and McDonalds but hopefully you’ll never need those.
Currently the 4 star spa facilities such as sauna/steam room and indoor heated pools are closed due to COVID measures but I understand these are due to re-open on June 14th.
There is free parking available out side of the hotel and a taxi rank 30 metres from reception.
All round I believe this hotel offers good value for money, I would certainly visit again.
Stayed here before in 2015 and things are still just as perfect..... the rooms, staff and services all on point. Spotlessly clean and covid compliant...
Delicious cake/snack shop/restaurant adjacent to the hotel that serves the most delicious coffee and gateaux. Cant wait until our next holiday here.
Stayed 14 nights mid September excellent location 20 mins walk to old town and beach restaurants and large supermarket easy walking distance. Hotel very quiet due to air bridge closing but room good and clean.
We arrived 1st October, having been to this hotel numerous of occasions we knew it would be a good stay. From the moment we walked through the door into reception we could see that everything was in place that needed to be because of covid. The young lady on reception ( behind a screen ) greeted us with a lovely smile, we checked in and then went to our apartment...
We were in 109, which is a one bedroom apartment with pool and sea view and a nice big balcony with table and chairs.Because of covid the indoor pool and exercise room were close, but the outdoor pool was in use. All through our stay every member of staff we met were lovely, all keeping the safe distance which was a pity as we had met quite a few of them before over the years and always had a hug. Not this year though, still it was lovely to see them again. Sandra is now dealing with reservations as JJ is now in another department. We vacated on 10th October, and were already talking of going back, in fact we have now booked and are looking forward to being back at the Brisa Sol in January 2021. We can highly recommend this hotel and all it's lovely staff.
Stayed in the Brisa Sol from 5th Oct-19th Oct. We have stayed a couple of times before and always enjoyed our stay Its central to Albuferia old Town and The Strip.
The Continent supermarket at one side and a super cake shop the other, where they did an excellent dinner menu at a reasonable price.
The Hotel was so clued up with the covid virus, there was sanitizers every where even in the lift also toilet seat sanitizer in the public loos.
Housekeeping was excellent clean towels every day.
We even saw the sun loungers being sprayed even though some days there wasnt many around the pool
Only down fall the indoor pool wasnt open due to the virus, which we understood the outdoor pool was a little chilly!!
Well done Brisa Sol you made us feel so safe and will defiantly be back again
