Everyone who's been there loves Albufeira. It's one of Portugal's favourite holiday destinations, and with good reason. The picturesque old fishing village has grown into a thriving, friendly place. It retains its picture postcard charm, but has still got plenty to offer today's holidaymaker.
Not surprisingly, people who love going to Albufeira love staying at the Inatel Albufeira. This wonderfully friendly hotel is located right in the heart of Albufeira making it the perfect place for holidaymakers to make the most of the gateway to the Algarve.
There's a lovely welcoming feel to the Inatel Albufeira; you'll experience it just as soon as you step into the bright, modern reception area. Guests don't just pass through; with free Wi-Fi on offer, it's a great place to spend a few minutes just taking it easy, perhaps rattling off a quick email and enjoying the laidback holiday experience.
In fact, everything about this hotel is designed with your relaxation firmly in mind. Whether you choose the fabulous indoor sports complex, or the large, outdoor swimming pool; whether you take a leisurely trip out into Albufeira; or enjoy a cool drink at one of the hotel's three bars, you can relax your way. This is your holiday, and the staff at the Inatel Albufeira want you to make the most of it. There's certainly no shortage of ways to pack your day. We mentioned sports – you can enjoy billiards, snooker, football, volleyball and tennis, all within the hotel and grounds. The main pool and children's pool are both excellent too.
You'll certainly be able to relax in your room. All rooms at the Inatel Albufeira are comfortable en suites and each has a balcony. They come equipped with TV, telephone, hairdryer and mini bar. Safes are also available at a fee.
Rooms are light, bright and airy – and in common with the rest of the hotel, cheery. This is a fun place to stay, and a great place for you to experience everything Albufeira has to offer.
With an excellent on-site restaurant – and all the great bars and restaurants of Albufeira just a stone's throw away, you'll be able to enjoy the best of the local cuisine too. After all, that's all part and parcel of an Algarve holiday – look out for some sumptuous seafood and great local dishes…
The Inatel Albufeira is more than a great base. Like Albufeira, it gives holidaymakers just what they want – a bright, happy holiday experience, with all that Algarve charm.
The Inatel Albufeira is centrally located close to the heart of the picturesque old fishing village of Albufeira and conveniently near to the beach. The large reception area has a modern relaxed feel and is the perfect place to unwind. There are a large number of shops, restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool and a sports complex with indoor and outdoor activities with the nearest golf course being just 10 minutes drive from the hotel.
My driver was a bit confused when I said going to Inatel , he asked me which one, I didn’t know there were 2 of them just opposite to each other. Its typical family holiday hotel, huge and I got a room for 3 person with balcony, a bit outdated, and the breakfast was okay, the staff was also friendly, but not my type of hotel, too big for me, the location is perfect, Just Infront of the beach, and short walk to the old town with plenty of shops and restaurants. The swimming pool was big and really nice, really good if you have kids...
I would recommend to my friends and family with children, they will love it here.
a very good location, but that's about it !! Lacking in atmosphere, a very poor bar area, and a very average restaurant, some nights just ok, and some nights poor ! Average food at best, with very little choice. On a positive note, the staff were pretty good, particularly Monica...very nice and very obligeing, and everywhere was nice and clean, I would say an overall score out of ten would be 4, not great. Would I stay again....No, sorry.
Hotel exceptionally clean, staff very helpful. Had problem with food but management sorted these and there was a big improvement in Feb. This was our third consecutive yearly visit and we will be booking to go again in 2021...
Please note, the area is hilly so not suitable for wheelchairs.
My partner and travelled to this Hotel for a change well what a mistake the staff were very morose and the info was non existent. The company namely Mercury holidays did not inform us that you had to pay extra for a meal on New Year's Eve in fact a cost of 110 Euros also the Portuguese guest ,s did not want to mix also very rude and abrupt as the Brits went there every .Not my choice as the meals were only Luke warm but I do like fish which was ok .I crossed swords with a Scott's nationalist not a very nice experience but that's the way people are content on spoiling a holiday .The rooms at the rear of the hotel are very dark and cold .
The Good Location is excellent, right on the beach with the old town restaurants and pubs a 5 minute walk away. Shower was steaming hot (: The Bad Bathroom needs a scrub around the edges to remove the black mold. No kettle in the room. Breakfast was poorly, eggs were cold and no juices only water available.
Overall a very clean hotel with friendly staff.
