Went in December for a mini honeymoon, had a fabulous time rooms brill, staff lovely. Area is great everything on your doorstep. Local people are all very friendly...
Would recommend it. Can't wait to go back
Stayed here in March for the 3 rd time loved it once again all the staff excellent my husband had a fall and there help was much appreciated can’t wait to see you all again next year location for someone like my husband brilliant everything at hand bars restaurants etc just outside room cleaned and beds towels etc every other day once again thanks for a lovely stay
Good hotel, was welcoming and had some good rooms, only downside is bed cover and duvet could have been updated as they looked and felt quite old but overall experience at this hotel was good and would recommend.
We stayed for a one month winter getaway. Upon arrival we found check in very quick and easy. Our room was fine...
The furniture is a little dated but was clean and comfortable.
Our kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed.
On the first day we found a couple of lights that did not work, and our stove fan was intermittent. One quick trip to the desk and everything was fixed within an hour.
While packing away our groceries we found a few ants and told the desk. They moved us to another room and never saw another one for 30 days.
Like most of the older hotels in Europe the beds are singles that get pushed together to make a double. My wife and I hate this and would pay extra next year if they would make it a true double for our stay.
Two areas that definitely need updating are the TV’s and the internet. The Televisions are about 14 inches and the channel selection is incredible small. The internet is hit and miss at the best of time and requires a lot of resetting. If you spend a couple of months at the hotel these aspects will drive you up the wall.
Rooms are cleaned every 2nd day. For some this may be an issue but not sure why. You can ask for clean towels every day at the desk. The walls are pretty thin. You will hear people walking and moving chairs above you. But you do get use to it. As the hotel is in the eastern entertainment area you will assuredly hear the revellers at night. But if you wanted total quiet you should look at a place out of the restaurant and bar area. The gym is pretty old and most of the machines don’t work. But if you head over to their other property you can use that updated facility. They will have to address this soon however. The pool area is large clean and well kept. It was to cool to swim but it was nice to sit by the pool and relax or read. The common areas are clean and comfortable if you want to spend some time in the lobby. The hangover bar is not much to speak of with over priced food and lousy drink specials. But, there are literally hundreds of choices within feet of the hotel. We found a dozen places we loved. Good food at better prices. Now location. The hotel is about a 10 minute stroll to the strip. About a 5 minute walk to the beach and about 30 minutes to the mall or Old Town. An Uber will cost you 3 euros to the Old Town. We were definitely pleased with the location. Now one of the best points about our stay was the staff. The crew at the desk were fantastic. Besides a friendly greeting every time they saw you, they were extremely knowledgeable about the area. From things to do to bus and train times they seemed to know it all. I had a serious dental issue during our stay and they helped me find an English dentist and arranged an appointment. They contacted my insurer as my cell phone did not work in Europe and helped me find a local chemist. Above and beyond the call. Thank you! We will consider spending 2 months here next year and with a few minor upgrades that would deal the deal. I would definitely recommend.
Our room was very dirty. The pillowcases were filthy. They only change towels and clean the rooms every 2 days...
I think that although the price is cheap this does not compensate for the precariousness of the services and facilities offered by the hotel.
