This friendly apart hotel is excellently located in the popular holiday resort of Albufeira, only 500 m from Oura Beach and within minutes from the famous strip with its abundance of restaurants, bars, pubs and shopping facilities. Continente Shopping Centre, the beach of Santa Eulália and the Bullring of Albufeira are within walking distance, Faro International Airport is about 32 km away. The hotel offers room ranging from studio to two bedrooms apartment which can accommodate up to 6 people. Each unit is decorated in European style, equipped with Flat-screen TV, Air conditioning, a well-fitted kitchenette, dining and living area, tea & coffee facilities, safe box, hair dryer, fridge and etc. Some rooms offers pool view or garden view with walk out balcony or terrace.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
awful experience, advertised as two double beds when they are literal sofas/mattresses. Place is crawling with ants and mosquitos and staff are very dismissive/ rude. They also demand a 100 euro deposit on arrival, which is stated nowhere online, place is disgusting
We are currently staying here for 10 days, really was unsure as never been here before BUTwill definitely come back and recommend. Accommodation lovely, spacious and clean, outside area lovely and clean, indoor the same. Had a few days we’re there were noisy lads but the staff soon stopped that lol. Staff are fantastic, ladies who look after the cleaning are amazing. The place is a must for anyone been to Albufira for 6 years on the run and this place is definitely the best, blows any of the MGM hotels out the water
My mum and I booked a three-night stay at Ouratlantico and honestly couldn’t fault it. We didn’t arrive until midnight due to a flight delay, but the friendly man on reception quickly checked us in and clearly explained how to find our room, which was much appreciated after a long day. We also weren’t asked for a deposit like some guests mention — perhaps we didn’t look like we were planning any wild parties!
When we reached our room, we were pleasantly surprised to find both a balcony on the lower level and a spacious roof terrace upstairs, which was a lovely bonus. The bed was slightly on the firm side, but it certainly didn’t detract from our stay.
The pool area was relaxed with plenty of sunbeds available, and we also enjoyed a dip in the warm indoor pool — another added perk. While the hotel could benefit from a bit of a refresh in places, for the price you pay it offers fantastic value.
The location is ideal, especially if you’re after nightlife. Turn right out of the hotel and within a three-minute stroll you’re right in the heart of the strip — basically bar heaven! There’s also a well-stocked supermarket very close by, which was really convenient.
For a change of pace, we hopped in a tuk-tuk to the Old Town one evening for €10 — easy to find and well worth it for a different atmosphere. Overall, a great stay and we’d happily return!
Absolutely amazing hotel friendly staff and fantastic location 3rd year staying here and already booked a return trip
Booked this hotel stay as part of an EasyJet holiday package for my wife and I. The hotel is in a great location which puts it within easy walking distance to all amenities in the new town area. The tourist train (stop 4) is about 600mtrs away and saves a lot of walking. The hotel itself is a little tired as you’d expect due to its age and general deterioration but it was undergoing some external paintwork while we visited. Rooms are adequate and clean. Kitchen has oven, microwave, kettle and fridge / freezer. Plenty of hot water from the shower too. Beds were firm (some may find them a bit hard). Didn’t need to use the air conditioner as it gets quite cool at night. The kitchen, living area and bathroom are situated on the ground level whilst the bedroom is up a set of stairs to the first floor. The steps between floors could be an issue for anyone with walking difficulty or mobility issues so please be aware of this. There is a clothes drier on the balcony (TIP: bring a few clothes pegs to save any clothes being blown off). We stayed for 4 nights and our towels were changed on 2 occasions. A room safe is available and it’s free to use. Just ask at reception desk for the lock and key. The only dissatisfaction we had was when a group of lads were staying above our apartment and were very noisy (shouting and dragging furniture around throughout the night) After the second night we complained to the hotel manager and he sorted our issue out by having a word with the lads. They have a storage area on the premises where you can leave any luggage if you have a late flight and are checking out earlier in the day.
