The Rocamar Exclusive Hotel & Spa is located just 20 metres from the beach and is a short walk from the centre of Albufeira which offers a large selection of restaurants, bars, shops and entertainment. Beaches, golf courses and theme parks are within easy reach. The hotel's sun terrace offers excellent views of the long stretch of sandy beach below.

Absolutely fabulous
I really can't say enough great things about this hotel! It is absolutely fabulous. All the staff are super helpful and friendly. Our room was cleaned every day with fresh towels whenever needed. Lovely robes and slippers in the room. Great powerful shower. We were on the 5th floor with a gorgeous sea view. Breakfast was included in our stay and I would like to give a special mention to the lovely man who cooked us pancakes every morning! The hotel is right on the beach so we didn't really use the pool much but on the two occasions we went, there is a well stocked bar and the bar man will pretty much make you any cocktail There is also a bar on the ground floor. I can't wait to go back!

Rocamar Hotel
Perfect location close to the beach and old town. Breakfast every morning was lovely. The hotel was very clean..couldn’t fault the cleaning staff. Staff very friendly and the pool was small with very little sun beds but still was lovely as you were right by the sea.
Not 4 Star
Let me start by saying this is not a 4 Star hotel more like a 3 Star. We had a premium room with a beach facing balcony, the room was cleaned everyday and is decent enough, however, you have to pay for the use of the safe, and to refill the coffee pods, you only get free coffee pods when you arrive. There is no iron in the room and there is no iron avaliable from reception, you have to pay for use of their laundry service, the mattress is very hard and uncomfortable. Then there's the staff, I have never in all my years visiting hotels all over the world met such grumpy and uncaring bunch of staff, they definitely need some training in hospitality, only the cleaning ladies were friendly. Then there's the breakfast which was included was certainly not 4 Star, it was the same bland and basic items each morning, with no brewed or bean coffee, but instant coffee from a machine. The pool only has minimum loungers and is only 1meter deep. The lady serving at the pool bar was not a welcoming person and did not look happy in her job. The only positive is the location it is only a couple of minutes walk from old town. There is better hotels in Albuferia that are avaliable which I have stayed at, would give this one a miss. I will not be staying here again.

Great Experience
What a fabulous experience we had at the Rocamar Albufeira. The hotel is modern exceptionally clean and the staff are just wonderful, nothing is a problem for them. Breakfast caters for all tastes from continental to cooked and no shortage of food either. In the afternoon it lovely to sit out front sample some cocktails in the sunshine and look at the sea stretch out in front of you. Definitely worth a visit.

Nice break lovely staff
Great location, staff very friendly , room cleaned everyday cleaners do a great job like all other staff in hotel enjoyed our stay room a bit on the small size with very little storage for two people just enough for one think would help taking suitcase rack away and putting a set of drawers in place ,shower very small you can't turn round in it and for these reasons wouldn't stay again
