This sophisticated hotel is well-located in the centre of Algarve, a short walk from Salgados beach and near Salgados golf course for sport lovers. The property is also near Albufeira's quaint coastal town and a mere 30 minutes by car from Faro International Airport. Thanks to its good position and the facilities offered, this hotel is the ideal choice of accommodation both for couples and families alike. Guests can truly unwind at the upgraded guest rooms and suites available, all of them displaying elegant and cosy features. The hotel facilities include several excellent restaurants and a marvellous wellness and spa centre to find one's balance between soul and spirit.
Myself and my teenage daughter stayed here for 5 days in June 2024 for a business trip with work.
The hotel is tucked away from a lot of things and doesn't have easy access to a beach but has 3 really lovely pools, two which are pretty quiet and one for children with a ship and slides and sprinklers.
The rooms were very spacious and clean and the bathroom was bright, shower was powerful, bed and pillows and blankets all very comfortable.
We ate every day in the restaurants and there was always a good selection of food to choose from. There was a great range of mocktails (for myself and my daughter as I am AF) which tasted a lot like the real thing, minus the booze which I was very grateful for.
We spent time in the conference rooms for business having some training, and a lot of time relaxing by the pool where there was always ample space for loungers and the pool was a good refreshing temperature without being too cold.
We did have to put a cash deposit down for the towels and you get a towel card so you can refresh them each day but I wasnt aware of that before we came and had minimal cash but managed to do it. It's returned to you when you hand in your towel cards when you check out.
The reception staff were friendly and helped booked taxi's for us to go into Albuferia. There is a great little train that takes you to the beaches too which you can pick up outside the hotel.
We loved our stay here but due to how far away it is from a lot of things I probably wouldn't personally choose to stay again. But the hotel itself had no problems at all.
Only consider staying here if you want a hotel stay completely free of any form of management, customer welfare or staff care! It felt like a creche most nights with the children taking over. It really was shocking how unwelcoming the reception staff are and generally the staff pride themselves on being completely detached.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND- worst hotel i have ever been to almost turned our holiday into a living hell…we had to check out
had a cocktail that tasted like medicine…wine was basically jet fuel 3.POOR SERVICE-STAFF ARE VERY UNAPPROACHABLE its almost like they dont want to be there…esp the guest relations manager, they dont seem to take critism and feedback well 4.THE ARCHTECTURE OF THE BUILDING SO WEIRD AND HAS WEIRD DARK CORNERS AND POOR LIGHTING 5. NOT COUPLE FRIENDLY. The hotel is mainly for families they have a full kindergarten going on in there you cant relax neither are there quiet spaces to go to
Summary If you want quality, relaxation and are a couple go somewhere else Its all quantity and zero quality
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I have no words to describe how amazing this hotel is! Perfect place, astonishing rooms, great staff. Super clean, great food, and the swimming pool area is just great. The hotel is nearby the beach so you can actually take a walk there every time that you want.
The hotel is luxurious. I had a bad experience with the receptionists. They haven't passed the information through themselves and unfortunately because of this we were waiting for hop on hop of bus 1 hour at the bus stop on 30°C . One month ago the have had an update for the bus timing, but they didn't know about this. The lobby bar according the capacity of the hotel guests is super tiny. Everything else I was happy with!
