This hotel is superbly located, by a long sandy beach in Albufeira. The beach and the lively promenade can be reached using the lift. There is a nearby pedestrian area with a plethora of shops and boutiques, nightlife and other entertainment opportunities, located only 2 minutes from the hotel. The hotel is just a 3-minute walk from Albufeira's Archaeological Museum. Faro Airport is about 50-minute drive away. There are bus trips to different interest points in the Algarve, such as monuments, hand-crafts, landscape and typical areas, guaranteeing a memorable adventure. The guest rooms feature beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean, equipped with flat-screen TV/cable channels, air conditioning, fridge, in-room safe, ironing facilities, minibar and hair dryer. Guests arriving by car may use the hotel's parking area or public parking, located near the hotel.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Nice hotel but really missed pool indoor one was tiny and thought with being on beach and no pool area sunlounger etc that you would have had a bed on beach they have a sister hotel again very small pool n was full as only had prob 20 beds overall disappointed for price we paid definitely wasn’t worth it also do works on the beach so awak from early Monday to Fri !
Returned from Sol e Mar on the 26.5.26. Firstly, the positives - the hotel is in a lovely position on the beach and within close proximity to the Old Town. Breakfast is excellent and the staff and cleanliness is very good. However, there is a considerable amount of construction work immediately outside the hotel on the beach. Heavy plant is running from 6 or 7 am until 7.30pm. We were unable to use our balcony to sit out and relax because of the considerable noise outside. We were in fact unable to even have our balcony door open. The work has been going on for several months and is likely to continue for some time to come. I made formal complaint to the hotel and my tour operator and am awaiting the outcome.
Great location, service n hospitality was very nice. Love the free breakfast, great coffee machines but I missed the reg American drip coffe. The towels could have been softer. We had the 4th floor w balcony. But all the rooms might have the balcony. It was very private n spacious. The noise level was high, could hear the punzo player in the dancers in Sunday but stopped at around 11pm which was nice. Definitely recommend
Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The only good thing was the room and on a holiday you don’t spend that much time in your room. Even the pool was shut down. Would not recommended but your choice I guess.
Staff very nice breakfast was really nice as well but bar area could do with updating , the guy that plays the piano and sings every night really good, rooms smelt really horrible after the cleaners had been as there using dirty hoovers hence they leave your balcony door open to get rid of the smell ,1 free bottle of water on arrival (Get 2 bottles every day in all hotels in Asia ) along with 2 pods for the coffee machine then you can by them for €1 each pod ,nice restaurants to the front of the hotel but beachside looked very shabby and last 2 nights of our trip was awoken at 3.45 am by the sound of 2 tractors digging up the beach which after complaining about it was told that they had permits to do it,Not worth the money for what we paid
