Vila Petra

The location at Vila Petra is perfect. 5 min walk from the top of the new strip. We used Uber to get to old town. The Atmosphere is welcoming. Some of the reception staff are extremely friendly. The rooms are spotless. We stayed in a superior one bed apartment and we had loads of space. With a huge balcony and seperate kitchen for self catering options. The rooms were immaculate. Cleaners went above and beyond every day. Our dishwasher was even loaded and shoes all lined up with clean towels and beds dressed very day.! The pool area is beautiful and the pool entertainment is super. The Bellux entertainment really do work so hard to make it an enjoyable holiday. Especially Roshan. His energy was infectious and he made the poolside area more upbeat with the pool games, dancing and interaction with the guests. Just to note the deep end of the pool has no way of getting in or out so you have to swim all the way to the shallow side to get out and get back to your seats if you sat at the opposite end of the pool. Strange. The breakfast buffet is not worth it. €20 each for limited options. The indoor hotel restaurant let us down. We went for steak night. 7 of us and every one of us got our steaks incorrectly cooked from what we requested. The steak was sat on top of a handful of chips and the plate was the same size as the steak!!! Imagine trying the even cut your food with a plate that small. We were then overcharged for 4 items we didn’t receive. Lucky we double checked our receipt and the staff we lovely and were quick to rectify and refund us. Overall it’s a fabulous hotel and I would recommend it and I would return again.
