*** HOTEL FROM HELL ***
Do not go here me and my girlfriend went here as a last minute deal
Firstly we got of the coach and was approached by a shady drug dealer secondly we walked towards to the lobby where we was greeted by a man where he told us we had been upgraded to a larger room
We though great and then he provided us with the keys to they door and a map we then started the walk to the dreaded room 120 as we got to the door we noticed that the door rattled as we entered the key
Then we entered the room and was greeted by a flickering light in the centre of the room we then got in and attempted to lock the door but when we tried to lock the door we had no confidence in the capability of the doors strength as it was single pane of what looked like greenhouse glass as someone could punch it through and unlock the door so I had to put a chair under the door handle as extra security
I then took the bags up the stairs which were horrendously steep and had hazard take all over them i then put the bags by the bed wich we checked and they were dirty so by this time we were set on the idea of talking to management in the morning
Then we tried to get settled in I had a look round the apartment I checked the fridge that was dirty then checked the draws and was met by the smell of damp and mold
I ended up sitting on top of the bed all night and from that my girlfriend ended up with bites all up her legs from supposedly bug bites
at the first chance of leaving I spoke to the manager who wasnt very helpful so I then checked out and went down the road to alvor
so that is my reveiw of the villa nova resorts I would never stay here again thankyou
For the price... Brilliant
I stayed here for the month of January and February and it worked out £10 a night so absolute bargain. It's not 5 star but it was more than adequate. I will definitely keep using this hotel when this Virus outbreak is over.

Disgusting
Paid extra to upgrade to a bungalow to find it was full of ants on request for the issue to be resolved they left us a can of ant sprat to do ourself we had no bed change or towel change all week even after asking on many occasions reception staff very ignorant .. if you are a stag or hen party your face will fit but if you ate a couple or family give this hotel a swerve its a disgrace....

Take no notice of things you read about this hotel just got back from there on friday didnt have any problems there great location for the strip when asked for towels we got them no breaking or money pinched you pay for what you get 3 of us stayed here plenty of room quite in the week but busy at week end dont no what it will be like when the place open up propley but had a good week defently go there again
Dreaded it
Booked this hotel based on cheap getaway was £70 for 2 of us for 1 week afterwards made the dire mistake of looking at reviews and was horrified, ppl walking into your room at nite, being robbed and aweful staff....so scared I put chairs against all doors on the first night but WHAT A LOAD OF TWADDLE all staff we came across smiled and nodded or said good morning cleaners were very friendly complementing me on my tan, we were given wrist bands so security knew we belonged there. Large deep pool with diving platforms although cold at this time of year but many braved it. The room was the same as many we've stayed in, in Spain and turkey functional not fancy but at the price who could moan.I'm sure at one time this has been a high class 5* resort but sadly has been left behind the times and became the same as any other hotel on any other resort. Would recommend for stag, hen or birthday binges as this is what the resort caters for location is right on the strip.
