Pelican Alvor a hidden gem!!!
Absolutely lovely place to stay with really friendly and helpful staff in every section of the hotel. They made our stay that little bit more special and would highly recommend a stay here . Very quiet and peaceful at night but only minutes walk away from the small but lively town of Alvor!!! Also large supermarket only 5 mins walk (Pingo Doce) that has a huge range of pastries, groceries and wine!!! Hotel was spotless with lovely snacks served to keep you going before an evening meal in the town!!! Big thanks again to all the lovely staff!!! Hope to see you soon!
Great stay
Lovely stay at the Pelican, very relaxed hotel with friendly helpful staff. Studio apartment large with good air conditioning. The room faced the car park which wasn't busy but from the 2nd floor there is a view of bird filled trees outside & the sun shone onto the balcony every afternoon. It is 15 minutes walk to the town & a good supermarket just 5 minutes away. The swimming pool was clean & we always found sunbeds available. It is quirt & relaxing around the pool. Lovely green area surrounding the pool area.

another great holiday in the pelican alvor
Just got back from 2nd stay in pelican alvor and it didn't disappoint good sized rooms kept clean by wonderful cleaners could do with a little upgrading in the bathroom,tile grouting and bottom of shower screen looking a bit grubby now but didn't affect our stay. Lovely quiet pool area no music if you like noise this hotels not for you staff are all friendly and helpful we had a small issue with someone playing loud music in the room next door which was dealt with swiftly never heard anything else after that . Great hotel if you want peace and quiet.

Perfect hotel to stay , the staff are extremely helpful, the hotel is spotless and the rooms are quiet big , supermarket only 5 mins walk away and Alvor centre less than 10 mins walk
Family break
Hi just back from this amazing hotel everything was so lovely from service to location so good staff are so friendly to women cleaning our room lads behind bar and they lovely women that were on breakfast will deff be bac sorry not forgetting ladies on reseption brilliant 😊
