This holiday complex is located on a plateau above the beautiful bay of Praia Vale de Centeanes whose sandy beach can be reached by descending a flight of steps located just 200 meters from the resort. The centre of the picturesque fishing village of Carvoeiro is located 1.8Km to the complex. The nearest airport is 60 km away. The complex features a reception, restaurant, tennis court, fitness room, sauna and Beauty and massage facilities. Car parking areas are available and there is free wi-fi throughout the resort and units of accommodation. Each of the comfortable accommodation units with exception of the Resort Suite has a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher. The Resort Suite has a small kitchenette. The resort has an adults and a children´s swimming pool, parasols and sun loungers. Cleaning is available daily except Sundays and Public Holidays. Linen and towels are changed twice per week. The nearest golf course is about 5 km from the complex and guests staying at Pestana Palm Gardens enjoy preferred green fee rates.

Have fun on holiday with the Pestana Palm Gardens Cockroaches
Pestana Palm Gardens is about a 30-minute walk from the village of Carvoeiro. Situated next to Vale de Centeanes beach, this 4-star development has been deteriorating due to a lack of maintenance and hygiene standards. The apartments are of good build quality and the facilities available in the kitchen, living room and bedrooms are in line with a 4-star rating, but the management of the Pestana group has left this complex to fall into disrepair. The outdoor areas and lawns are poorly maintained, the apartments are infested with cockroaches and, year after year, this problem remains unresolved. Despite the complaints made, the same problems persist. They always offer the same excuses: construction work in the surrounding area, the Lagoa council provides little assistance,... Guests who use the kitchen for daily meals have to pay 1 euro if they want a tablet for the dishwasher in the apartment.
If you’re coming to stay at Pestana Palm Gardens, bring a spray can to kill the cockroaches that always appear at night. And happy hunting!

Review of Pestana Palm Gardens
My/our stay at Pestana Palm Gardens was epic and exceeded our expectations. It was our first time in Portugal and we didn't know what to expect but the resort, location and customer service exhibited by the staff were amazingly OUTSTANDING. They provided me with a list of things to do in the local area and recommended excursions and area attractions from shopping to the caves. Thank you for ALL you done to make our trip so memorable. We loved our resort rooms, roomy, clean and spacious and full stocked with utensils and dishes. Also, we had fresh linen and towels every day. I would stay here again!
Pestana Palm Gardens in lovely Carvoeiro
This was our second visit to Pestana Palm Gardens in Carvoeiro. Both times, we stayed in a two-bedroom townhouse style unit with full kitchen. The premium sea view option is definitely a treat, but the garden view is also nice. The property is quite large and full of trees and plants and has a beautiful pool which is quiet in April. The front desk management is exceptional. There is a lovely beach, Centeanes, within a short walking distance, lots of restaurants on Farol Street and large grocery stores a short drive away. A car is useful but there are buses and taxis. Also the Pestana Palm Gardens is a great starting point for many beautiful walks or hikes.
Great stay at Pestana Palm Gardens, Carvoeiro
Excellent stay. Very clean and spacious facilities. Great value for money and very comfortable. We loved this accommodation and would highly recommend. We enjoyed the restaurant and bar facilities - both were fabulous. We especially enjoyed the warm and welcoming attention of Igor who was always professional and wonderful. We would definitely choose to stay here again when visiting the Algarve.

Really enjoyable stay
Staff are lovely and extremely helpful. We found the location right by the hiking trails so good and the views from our room were fantastic. Can recommend the breakfast and we ate in the evening as well and really enjoyed our meal. The pool area was clean and the pool staff were busy every morning checking everything. Can recommend Palm Gardens for its location. We are quite active and were able to walk into Carvoeiro in about 15/20 minutes for bars and restaurants if you don't always want to eat on site. We will definitely return. Thank you to all the staff for helping to make our stay so enjoyable.
