Eva Senses is a perfectly located hotel next to the yacht harbor right in the center of Faro. Our room was beautiful and very clean. Really enjoyed the small terrace overlooking the harbor and the old city center...
What a wonderful view! We did experience some noise from the planes landing in Faro, but luckily the air traffic stopped at night. The beds were very good. I had an excellent night's sleep.
The staff at reception was very friendly and professional. Really went out of their way to answer all our questions.
The hotel has a rooftop pool and lots of different restaurants inside the building. It was very busy at the pool, so we had some trouble finding a seat to put our towels on. Sadly the staff at the pool didn't clean up the tables fast enough. The empty glasses and bottles of previous guests were left way too long on the tables.
The water in the pool was cold and my boyfriend and I noticed that the water level in the pool was way lower than it should be. Perhaps the hotel wanted to save water?
The breakfast was outstanding. So many options to choose from. Every guest got a pincer to help themselves to the food at the buffet, to ensure COVID-19 safety. I loved the cooked options and the Portuguese pastry. Bonus points for the sparkling wine. What a way to start the day.
The cleaning staff did take there time cleaning the rooms, when my boyfriend and I returned at about 4 pm, the room still wasn't cleaned. I guess they must be understaffed.
We arrived early on 9 September, we went for a tour of the city. We went back at 13.30 hoping to get an early check-in. We had to hang around in the lobby until 15.20 (although our check-in was 14.00) before we could get into the room, have a shower and go out again, by that time the restaurante we had reserved "Faro Benfica" had closed...
I can understand problems but bad manners is another thing. Antonio on reception was extremely rude. My husband had prepared this visit for my birthday on 10th September. I was very upset and didn't really enjoy myself. The real problem is that the cleaning is understaffed and the people in reception make up all kinds lies to cover up.
Stayed for one night. Good location for exploring Faro. Great rooftop few...
Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Picked this hotel for harbour view, booked a room with balcony, I was very dissapointed to be placed in a room with harbour view but no balcony available eventough I had a conformation..... that was the only negative.
We told the staff we was staying for our anniversary, so they surprised with a bottle of fizz at our room.
The hotel has a very nice roof top pool with bar.
We was unlucky not to get a harbour view but the room was still really nice.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Clean , Functional and Central Lovely roof top pool ( though plenty of strangers there who pay for the day) Fab food and munchies for lunch and superb drinkies . Nice rooftop bar with good selection of cocktails Good service Our room was nice and as expected but over looking the street which I do not recommend .
