An excellent hotel and great for walks along the beach to Vila Real. The pristine golden sandy beach stretches for miles! Our apartment was comfy and spacious and clean. Reception was polite. Although we were there when several winter storms hit the country, we had a thoroughly good time and have booked to return next year!

I booked three nights here with the option to extend.

I didn't end up doing that.

My apartment was great, the view and the surroundings were all wonderful.

But for me, the hotel was far too noisy. There were apparently several groups of young people running around the hallways shouting all the time, and during the day there was a lot of banging (renovation work is necessary, of course), noisy cleaning carts, and slamming doors.

This might also be due to the hotel's interesting architecture – everything echoes quite a bit inside, as it's open in the middle.

Perhaps it doesn't bother others, and I'm a bit older myself, but still, it's a good hotel! Maybe I just had the wrong fellow guests.

Booked a self catering apartment for 3 arrived at hotel today was told there is no reservation made. Hotel have said you can not book hotel through live holidays and there is nothing they can do. Called Love Holidays told me they use a third party to book the hotels are trying to get hold of them will have to wait until they get back to Love Holidays. In the mean time I will have to pay another €100 for the night until they can either sort alternative accommodation or resolve issue with same hotel. I only came for a weekend away and am now spending it trying to find accommodation. Absolutely appalling customer service from the hotel and Love Holidays emergency team.
