Situated just above the Praia dos Castelos Beach, this apart hotel enjoys fantastic views over the Atlantic Ocean and the town of Praia da Rocha. The beautiful beaches of Praia da Rocha and Praia do Vau and the centre of Portimão, the largest town on the West Algarve, with its restaurants, bars and shopping facilities are within easy reach. Several golf courses are just a short drive away.

A gem of a place, the apartment is huge, with kitchen cooker, kettle which you boil on the hob, huge balcony with the most stunning sea views. The restaurant is lovely, food is limited but what they do have is lovely and tasty. The loveliest guys Alex and Jose are the best waiters in town very chatty friendly and funny nothing too much trouble.reception are lovely and friendly too.would love to go back.
My friend and I have just come back from a week at the Hotel Presidente which we enjoyed very much. Check in was very easy and quick. Although we had booked half board the apartment we were allocated seemed to be a self catering apartment. It was very large with a kitchen area and a large lounge...
There was also a separate bedroom and bathroom. Everything was clean. There was a lovely large terrace and we had a sea view. The room was cleaned every day and there was a notice saying that clean towels would be given if you put the used ones on the floor. All the staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful. The pool was great with plenty of sunbeds and surprisingly enough towels were not left on them. You could always find an empty sunbed. The food was not brilliant but it was adequate. Breakfast was the same each morning with sausage, scrambled egg, beans and tomatoes. There was also a continental selection. We found the evening meal was not so good. It was lukewarm and not to everyone’s taste although there was plenty of it. Wi Fi was a reasonable price at 15 euros for the week. The hotel was in a brilliant position. A walk of 5 minutes in one direction brought you to a little village of Praia de Vau and a 10 minute walk in the opposite direction took you to the larger Praia de Rocha. I would return to this hotel.
Just back from a week in Portugal.Very good hotel , maids in every morning to dress the beds gave us fresh towels and cleaned the apartment, the reception staff very helpful , special shout out to the pool bar staff Alex who is very friendly and Jose they are always up for the crack 👌🏽 Would highly recommend this hotel and good location just a 10 min walk away from the main strip .
the reviews prior to us booking seemed positive so we were excited about staying here. it wasnt what we thought it would be. it was fine...
rooms were fine. incredibly dated. badly in need of a thorough painting, the bath itself was badly worn around the plug hole. the appartment door blew open of its own accord even though it was locked! the door could also be easily pushed open even though it was locked. breakfast was very poor. choices were very limited for £8. some tiles around the pool were loose. the staff were so firendly though esp alex in the bar
Love the location. The apartments have great views from the big balconies and are cleaned daily.was always greeted with a smile at reception. The bar staff are the friendliest ive ever encountered...
A special mention for Alex who is the nicest guy you will ever meet.we had many a great night with him. This was our 4th holiday here and will definitely be back next year 👍
