Vilamoura

The smart, modern Praia Sol Hotel is a great choice for your Algarve holiday. And here's why. It's brilliantly situated, being within easy reach of the beach and Vilamoura marina. It boasts excellent quality amenities, and it's just the right size for a quieter feel, and a more individual level of service.

Vilamoura is certainly one of the most exciting spots in the Algarve – with its wonderful beaches and superb sporting facilities (great for golf and tennis players in particular) you really will be spoilt for choice.

Excellent service and attention to detail make the Praia Sol Hotel a smart choice:

When you stay at the Praia Sol Hotel you're perfectly placed to enjoy every kind of Algarve holiday. It's a wonderfully private hotel set in the popular resort of Vilamoura, part way between Albufeira and Faro. That gives you three excellent and varied resorts to explore at your leisure. Or, if you prefer, you can have a fantastic holiday without ever leaving Vilamoura. It's up to you.

The Praia Sol Hotel is your ideal base. And it's a great place to stay in its own right. It's got a real sense of style. The décor uses lots of rich reds and earth tones for a very sun-baked Algarve feel.

Your comfortable air conditioned, en suite room will be attractively furnished and equipped with satellite TV, telephone, hairdryer and heating (for guests staying through the winter – not that it ever gets very cold). From your balcony, you'll be able to look out and reflect on another wonderful day in Vilamoura.

Perhaps you'll have a leisurely day in and around the hotel, ending with a meal in the stylish restaurant. Single travellers may also enjoy having a table specially set aside for them to help them get to know fellow travellers during their stay. Or, you might head out to the marina to see the sights, and experience the hustle and bustle. Here you'll find a wide choice of restaurants, cafes and bars.

The Praia Sol Hotel is a small, but very stylish hotel that's within easy reach of so many of the Algarve's must-see destinations.

Value for Money

We found the staff to be friendly and accommodating especially when we decided to stay an extra night due to a rain storm. Unfortunately, the room smelled of smoke even though it was a non-smoking hotel. The room was comfortable, breakfast was basic with an option of cooked eggs. It also had free onsite parking, a pool and sunbeds.

Just a perfect budget hotel, in the heart of Vilamoura

What a fantastic find the Praia Sol hotel was. Lovely staff, brilliant location and incredible value. It is not a luxury hotel and doesn't pretend to be, its a very good budget price hotel. Room was a really good size, nice hot shower, big comfortable bed, quiet location but just 5 minutes from the Vilamoura marina. Free on site parking. Basic but well served breakfast. If you want a value for money hotel in one of the best places in Portugal othis is it.

Great week in Quarteira

This hotel is in a great location. Tucked away but everything within walking distance. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool. What makes this hotel great though is the staff. They were so friendly and made us feel really welcome. Special mention to Cesar, Andry and Luisa. Will definitely return!

Great value and great staff

This hotel is excellent value for money. It's a short walk from the Marina at Vilamoura, the beach and Quarteira. The price of food and drinks iin the hotel is very reasonable compared to some of the prices you'll pay close by. The hotel is always spotless and the pool is nice and relaxed with plenty of loungers. There was always a pleasant atmosphere while we were there and we really enjoyed our stay. What makes the hotel so special is it's staff. They are always willing to go the extra mile for their patrons and always greet you with a smile, especially Ceasar and Andriy. Two great guys and hard workers. Yes the breakfast is basic but it is a 3 star hotel and you can ask the lads for eggs at breakfast time and they will oblige you. You will struggle to find a 3 star hotel as good as this, especially near Vilamoura. We will be back

Small hotel, great staff, great location

We stayed for a couple of days. Lovely quiet hotel, in a great location as away from the hustle and bussel yet easy walking distance to both beaches and Vilamoura Marina. The breakfast is continental style which we felt had a good choice and the option of cooked eggs. The bar offered simple snacks and ice cream during the day. We found the drinks reasonable and great cocktails. The pool is small but adequate with plenty of sunbeds. It was so peaceful, the advantage of staying in a small hotel, with outside toilets and showers. The rooms were clean and the usual standard. No fridge but it does have a good aircon. We had a good comfortable bed and a good size balcony, blackout curtains. On the downside the sound proofing is poor and when those who had been out and returned in high spirits in the early hours, you did get disturbed but that is to be expected The staff were very friendly and helpful and we would stay here again if in this area.
