The smart, modern Praia Sol Hotel is a great choice for your Algarve holiday. And here's why. It's brilliantly situated, being within easy reach of the beach and Vilamoura marina. It boasts excellent quality amenities, and it's just the right size for a quieter feel, and a more individual level of service.
Vilamoura is certainly one of the most exciting spots in the Algarve – with its wonderful beaches and superb sporting facilities (great for golf and tennis players in particular) you really will be spoilt for choice.
When you stay at the Praia Sol Hotel you're perfectly placed to enjoy every kind of Algarve holiday. It's a wonderfully private hotel set in the popular resort of Vilamoura, part way between Albufeira and Faro. That gives you three excellent and varied resorts to explore at your leisure. Or, if you prefer, you can have a fantastic holiday without ever leaving Vilamoura. It's up to you.
The Praia Sol Hotel is your ideal base. And it's a great place to stay in its own right. It's got a real sense of style. The décor uses lots of rich reds and earth tones for a very sun-baked Algarve feel.
Your comfortable air conditioned, en suite room will be attractively furnished and equipped with satellite TV, telephone, hairdryer and heating (for guests staying through the winter – not that it ever gets very cold). From your balcony, you'll be able to look out and reflect on another wonderful day in Vilamoura.
Perhaps you'll have a leisurely day in and around the hotel, ending with a meal in the stylish restaurant. Single travellers may also enjoy having a table specially set aside for them to help them get to know fellow travellers during their stay. Or, you might head out to the marina to see the sights, and experience the hustle and bustle. Here you'll find a wide choice of restaurants, cafes and bars.
The Praia Sol Hotel is a small, but very stylish hotel that's within easy reach of so many of the Algarve's must-see destinations.
The Hotel Praia Sol is conveniently positioned near the beach and Vilamoura Marina. The centre of the marina is within easy walking distance and it offers restaurants and places of entertainment and varied nightlife including a casino. The hotel features a terrace and gardens, there is also an outdoor swimming pool and a children's pool.
My first trip to Portugal and now a wonderful memory. Costa de Caparica is far enough away from the capitol to enjoy the beach but close enough to take advantage of remarkable history and culture. This hotel was comfortable, convenient, reasonably priced, and you could not ask for a better opportunity to make friends...
When in Portugal, I would add this to a must-do and would definitely return to enjoy the beautiful beach.
Nothing prepares you for this place. Everything very basic & tired looking. Its forbidden to take food & drink to rooms & pool, no towels out of room...
Seriously, no air conditioning & heating, parasols & pool bar, 1 pool, sun loungers broken, Golf no & taxi to shopping mall cost us forty euros, it was half way to the airport
Read recent reviews ... My mistake I didn't ... I believed travel agent .....
Don't.. u will waste u're money! I have a huge list of communications and complaints ongoing. The booking was for three adults and look at the third bed that was put in place! There were other things too ... Look at hotel facilities VERY carefully - sometimes what is advertised is not what you get!
We stayed for10 nights over the christmas period, our bed linen and room was only changed once!towels were thrown in the bathroom, no heating in room a blanket in wardrobe which smelt disgusting, one member of staff to do reception waiting on tables and bar, complaints go unnoticed (the manager leaves a waitress to handle them). Meals are very poor Christmas dinner was 2 slices of turkey and chips, no one around after 11am if you want a drink which is why I suppose guests sneak it up to their room, the list goes on, I know it was out if season but why open if you cant be bothered!!! Finally the notice about cats being slaughtered if you feed them is disgraceful(never saw any around hotel).
No one at the reception when I first arrived and when I finally did find a receptionist I didn’t much mich info about when check out is, where the pool is, what time breakfast is etc. My room smelt of cigarette. The TV was very old fashioned...
Only decent thing about the hotel was the location which is very close to the Vilamoura strip.
