Beautiful Resort
My family of 16 stayed here and thought it was a beautiful and comfortable resort. The pool area is lovely and became our favorite spot. The concierge helped us book a great tour at a very fair price. Try the mixed fried seafood at Oregano for a treat.

Great pool and facilities at the hotel, but wouldn't recommend purobeach
My husband and I stayed at the Tivoli Marina hotel for a long weekend (4 nights) in June 2026. We'd booked the premium sea view room with Purobeach beach club included. The room was nice enough and clean. The view was lovely! The breakfast was exceptional with all of the usual hot and cold offerings, with indoor and outdoor seating. In fact all of the facilities within the hotel were outstanding. However, we did find the beach club quite disappointing, the drinks served weren't very good and the loungers were far too close for comfort. Also we had no idea that there was a Purobeach pool area as well and we came across it by accident on our last day! We found the hotel pool was far better than the beach club and we ended up spending our time there, the drinks and the food were very good and the service was much better. The location of the hotel is fantastic with being at the head of the beautiful marina and right on the beach. I would definitely recommend Tivoli Marina hotel and will be returning in the future.

Not bad. Just let down on the service at table at breakfast and perhaps main desk.
It’s right on the Marina. Which is its USP. Bragging rights perhaps. It also has the beach right behind it. This hotel runs like a well oiled machine in terms of and as far as the mechanics of running a hotel go. However, breakfast is a big let down. Service from the staff on the floor varies wildly. Of four breakfasts, on not one occasion did we receive the service at the table we should have received. Actually on one day an Indian chap noticed us and was helpful and I would say Muhammad was also helpful. But overall it makes me wonder if whether I should have stayed here for a lesser time and gone off to another hotel either in vilamous or another part of the Algarve. Generally for a five star, what is called a, ‘resort’, I would expect more friendliness. I would say they accommodated me with a last minute room request and booking but as per earlier, perhaps the processes and procedures work perfectly and what is actually needed is more effort from staff to make the guest feel special, welcome and attended to esp. at table at breakfast. Actually poolside, Anil was quite friendly, and also an African fellow behind pool bar (sorry I forgot his name). The guys at egg station are friendly as well as FOH for breakfast. The room is comfortable and you get a good nights sleep. I think the explanation at check in on facilities could have been more robust ie how many restaurants there are. That there is a gym and an indoor pool etc. The service I expect is that what I received at purobeach restaurant. Ok well if that was 10/10… at least give me 5.5/10. Would I be back is the question. Possibly. Atmosphere is friendly, guests are pleasant. Concierge are friendly and helpful. Gym staff are helpful and friendly.

Awesome!!
Hotel is immaculate and the location is fantastic. Right in the middle of everything. Friendly staff throughout though getting someone to pour a coffee @ breakfast is not always happening. The pool area is fab and such a great mix of young, old, families and couples. The glee coffee shop at reception, I think I saw something like €20 for one cake, erm.... Overall a fine hotel, surely one of the best in the Algarve and very deserving of 5 stars!
