This attractive apartment hotel is located only 2 km from Funchal city centre. All rooms and studios have full or partial Atlantic Ocean views. There is a plethora of restaurants in the vicinity, ready to serve local delicacies. There are also several shops, bars and nightclubs in the area. The beautiful beach is only 500 m from the hotel and there are public transportation links in the vicinity, ready to take guests around the island's stunning landscape.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

We chose this hotel via Jet2 holidays. Our main consideration was price, location and star rating. Overall we would agree with both the Trip Advisor and Jet2 ratings. It's a nice hotel, location is outside of Funchal but that is good as away from the busy areas and although we can only comment on the breakfast, the food was good and a good selection.
The hotel is very clean, staff friendly and pool and sun terrace was also very good. I do have a couple of grumbles which would make our stay better. The first being, in this day and age, it is in everyone e interest including the hotels, for guests to be able to lock their valuables in a safe, safes are provided but the hotel charge you €15 euros per week to use it, most hotels theses day offer this free. The second is the cost of car parking, the hotel charge €15 euros per day, this is almost the same cost of hiring a car per day.
There are plenty of good restaurant close to the hotel and a good food supermarket just 50 meters away where you can get drink, lunch etc, they also have a in store cafe for a cheap meal. The sea front, there is no beach is a short walk down hill where you will find two or three Lidos, but the down side, it's all up hill on the way back. There are also plenty of tour shops and reps close by, we used Sunrise tours, just 200 meters away, they also were very good.
Overall a really positive stay.
Awesome hotel. Spa staff unbelieveable massage treatment..lovely staff at breakfast and main reception.room service great..lovely pools..just great hotel
Room 423, corner room so large windows and balcony on 2 sides. Nice sea view Comfortable bed and pillows. Crisp white sheets. Towels too small though. Room spacious, light and airy. Great walk in shower. Always hot and good pressure. Very clean. We went fully inclusive. Excellent dining room service, polite, helpful and efficient staff. However, Food was not good. Bland and repetitive. Sandwiches and snacks beside pool at 3.30 pm every day. Outdoor pool small and not good for swimming but only for cooling off. No garden area to speak of. Decent live music in bar area every night. Overall, good hotel let down by quality of food and outdoor pool area. Good views from sun terrace though
First impression of hotel is that the reception and bar areas have been decorated and furnished to a high standard. The hotel fronts onto a road and has apartment blocks in close proximity. It is about a thirty minute walk from the centre of Funchal. The hotel does have a shuttle bus that can be booked in advance however we took the local buses which stop close to the hotel. Our room was spacious and clean. Disappointingly there was a kettle in the room but only tea and sugar sachets which were not replenished. The towels were worn and discoloured when wet and there was only a shower gel in the bathroom. Breakfast is served in an area which feels like a canteen, very crowded with tables close together. The food is as expected with a range of cold and hot options however the cooked food is at best. I would say that first impressions walking into the hotel is that it looks like a four star hotel but for the overall guest experience I would say it is more a three star hotel.
From checking in to leaving the hotel the staff were friendly/efficient. We found the hotel ideally located as were were bed & breakfast there were numerous bars & restaurants within 5/10 min walk. The breakfast at the Hotel was excellent with a great selection of food and coffees. We had a room overlooking the sea and drinks on the balcony watching the sunset was great. The Lido is within 10 min walk which is well worth a visit as was the cable car & Ronaldo museum. There is a free bus service offered by the hotel which we used also the local buses which stop nearby. Evening entertainment was good with a variety of acts.We will definitely be back
