This superb beach hotel is located at the heart of the action in the bustling tourist hub of Benidorm. The hotel is situated a mere 50 metres from the beach and within easy access of a myriad of shops, restaurants and entertainment venues. Guests will find a golf course nearby. This former private residence is beautifully designed, featuring a contemporary style, yet embracing traditional charm. The hotel features stunning, guest rooms which enjoy vibrant colours and a relaxing ambience. The rooms provide the perfect escape from the lively town which lies just outside. Guests will appreciate the tranquil surroundings in which they can relax and unwind in comfort.
This hotel is perfectly situated on the nicknamed gin and tonic street. It is beside tapas ally. The beautiful big chapel is just up the hill. The beach is literally around the corner. The hotel staff are all very welcoming. The hotel is kept spotlessly clean. The rooms have everything you need . Air-conditioning was great. Shower always had hot water.Room cleaned daily. TV with plenty of channels. The breakfast was perfect , you had the bread section, bacon, English style sausages, beans, mushrooms, eggs , omelette, pastries, cereals, fruit, cheese and hams etc . Dinner was great but if a fussy eater you might struggle at dinner as selection is small for mains in comparison to other hotels . In saying that , we found this system much better . Choices were lasagne and ham and cheese fritter, canarian potatoes, skinny fries , fish dish etc etc . Next night , a pasta dish, turkey escalope, a fish dish etc etc . Then you had your soup, salad bar , dessert bar , bread section etc We found it more than adequate but knowing if a fussy eater you may struggle at dinner. We will definitely return to this hotel . Stayed here 01-10 Sept to tie in with friends also staying in resort and 2 in this hotel. BIG thanks to the ever-friendly ever-helpful Kira and Diana for assistance in altering my booking, then fab check-in, then helping my friends change rooms. Having said that - ALL the staff here are top draw! As always spotless hotel - I must say the cleaning team do an excellent job my room every day was like the day I arrived! Breakfast is god and I ate twice at the evening buffet which at 15 Euro is excellent. Restaurant and bar staff as great as ever! The location is spot on - you can be on the beach in a few minutes and as it's on the nicknamed GinTonic Street - well that tells you what are in abundance along this street! It is a great atmosphere at night along this street. The hotel has an amazing rooftop bar with stunning views and you can use this if not staying - as friends of mine did. We have just returned from a weeks break in Benidorm and this hotel was in a perfect location to explore the delights of the Old Towns restaurants and Pubs. We ventured into New Town a few times during the day but stayed away at night as the Old Town was busy but perfect for us. The hotel was quiet and room comfortable, with the breakfast good, but with so many local options didn’t really sample their offering in the evening. The area was probably busier than I expected, but that helped with the atmosphere in the evening. We found a lovely spot to have a drink up near the old fort area. We also walked up to the Benidorm Cross, which nearly killed me, but was worth it for the view. Overall the hotel was in the perfect location and would recommend to anyone wanting a good value for money short to medium holiday.
Stayed at Hotel Alameda Old Town, Benidorm reception staff were outstanding, They were very helpful, Diana and kira , rooms were cleaned every day , and we had breakfast every morning a good choice of food 10/10
What an amazing hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. The room was spotless and cleaned every day to a very high standard. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we both had a great night’s sleep.
The shower was one of our favourite features—especially with the relaxing red light, which gave it a real spa-like feel. The air conditioning was fantastic too, keeping the room perfectly cool throughout our stay.
We stayed for 3 nights on a room-only basis and honestly couldn’t fault a thing. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
