Costa Blanca

This beautiful hotel is located in Benidorm's tourist centre, only 2 km from the town centre, which is filled with boutiques, cafés, bars, restaurants and nightclubs. There are public transportation links in front of the hotel and there is an excellent golf course just 12 km away. This hotel is ideal for a fun-filled, family holiday under the warm Mediterranean sun. However, hen and stag parties are not allowed at the hotel.

Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Review of hotel

Review by karensH4786QK

Have been on holiday many times to Benidorm. But havnt stayed in the ambassador for 30 years. The recent refurbishment means it's very contemporary and is very comfortable...

The bedrooms have everything you need, and amazing walk in shower was a big positive. The restaurant was clean and spacious. The choice of food was very good and the quality was also very good. The head waiter Frank ran the restaurant extremely efficiently, he was friendly and welcoming and he and his staff worked exceptionally hard to maintain the excellent standards. They were attentive and very efficient. They ensured everyone wore masks when moving around the restaurant and covid protocol was always maintained, which made you feel very safe. The hotel was over all excellent and I felt very safe throughout the visit.

Best hotel in the dorm

Review by Flipflop37

Just back from a short family break at the ambassador. Stayed here many times but this was our 1st visit since the refurbishment and we were very impressed. The hotel is light bright modern and spotlessly clean...

Great central location for all the entertainment Benidorm has to offer and close to the beach. Every member of staff we spoke to was friendly helpful and polite from the cleaners, maintenance crew, bar staff and reception to the restaurant team. Special mention to Frank the restaurant manager and his staff who arranged a special birthday dinner for my sister complete with cake, balloons, table decorations and complementary bubbly. Also to Osmara on reception. Nothing was too much trouble. She was always so helpful and cheery. Such a lovely person to greet you on entering the hotel. We have stayed in quite a few different hotels in Benidorm but this is definitely our favourite and we hope to return many more times

Review by john n Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom

Just back from a lovely 5 night stay and were very impressed with this hotel. this was our first stay but won't be our last. Covid aware good location very clean lovely rooms ( our only gripe was the pillows one was not enough and two was too many which made them uncomfortable for me and the wife ) the food and the staff were outstanding a very big thanks to Frank and the staff in the restaurant keep up your excellent work.

Nice break

Review by kos397

The hotel has been refurbished to a good standard, rooms are still small but you don’t spend much time in the room! No where to put items like toothbrushes etc in bathroom, the toilet roll holder was in the wrong place and awkward to reach, tea and coffee facilities are in the room but not restocked after you have used them unless you pay- I have never come across this in a 4 star hotel before. Pool area is nice, I am concerned about the glass panels surrounding the children’s pools, there are no safety strips on the edge, just sharp glass edges, a child or adult could easily be injured if falling or slipping onto one of them . Entertainment is good, drinks at hotel reasonably priced, lovely staff...

Rooms are supposed to be soundproofed but we heard lots of noise all through the nights, could hear people walking in the room above, doors slamming, people talking etc. Lots of food choice in restaurant but we ate out lots so didn’t eat much at hotel, restaurants in the area are very good and cheap! I would stay here again but request top floor to eliminate some noise and get at least some sleep!
