Boasting a prime beachfront location in the vibrant city of Benidorm, this luxurious hotel is ideal to enjoy a comfortable holiday of sun and sand. Alicante airport is some 58 kilometres from this exclusive property. Guests staying at this hotel may have the chance to choose the room that matches their own needs and personality. Tastefully decorated, some of them also feature magnificent views over Levante beach. Guests can spend warm, sunny days lounging by the pool or just enjoy a moment of relaxation in the sun terrace. Meanwhile, business travellers may appreciate the convenience of the onsite meeting room, ideal for holding congresses or conferences.

Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Let Down By Breakfast

Nice hotel with a good location right on the sea front at Levente beach. Room was clean and spacious with good storage. Bathroom the same...

rather a small swimming pool but I guess as you are 5 paces from the sea that may not be a priority? We were on a bed & breakfast only deal and their idea of English 'style' breakfast items leaves a lot to be desired. The baked beans were insipid in colour & taste, barely warm & in a watery tomato sauce. Certainly not Heinz, HP or Cross & Blackwell. The 'bacon' was either baked so as to be impossible to cut with a knife or so under done it was almost like chewing it raw. I suspect the ingredients have been chosen for their cheapness rather than flavour. The rest of the buffet continental items were as you would expect. Their cooking station did do eggs & omelletes to order which was fine. Pity but I do like a good cooked breakfast when away. Only problem with the room was the level of noise from some kind of machinery at the back Room 611. Annoying.

Enjoyable break

Booked the Cimbel Hotel for a couple of nights, opting for a sea view room on a bed and breakfast basis. We found the reception staff very helpful on arrival and throughout our stay. The room was spotlessly clean with a spacious bathroom and had a furnished balcony that had sun all day. The breakfast is self service which we found more than adequate with fresh fried eggs, omelette and scrambled eggs cooked at a separate cooking station...

A great selection of fresh fruits is also available. The coffee machines are a little slow, but other than that we had no complaints. The pool area is again spotless with a warm spa pool as well as a swimming pool, which my wife said was freezing, but it was February! We really enjoyed our stay and found it good value.

Nice hotel with personal touch on sea front

Review by airfix61 Cardiff

Arrived at this hotel at very short notice (20 minutes) due to a mix up with a booking at another hotel.

Considering the short notice we had a large clean room on 12th floor after been offered a lower floor if we preferred. Sea view was great, and you step from hotel straight onto Benidorm esplanade. Car safely parked in hotel underground carpark, extra cost but worth it for us.

We had full board and the wine & water (with lunch & dinner) offer for 7 days...

Food was great, but the hotel mid-day meal is the four course a la carte meal not to be missed. The evening meal is a well stocked buffet. Serving times are long (Eg. 12 to 3pm for lunch) so plenty of flexibility when it comes to meal planning.

Bar service in the foyer was prompt and servings generous. Special mention for waiters Juan and Ana in the restaurant who couldn't do enough for us and quickly remembered our names, room number and wine preference.

Tip, don't miss mid-day meal, it's a highlight.

We usually have a winter break in Benidorm, and the next one will be at this hotel

Dissatisfied guest

We stayed at hotel Cimbel for three nights with breakfast and dinner included. The ocean view from the room was fantastic but the room cleanliness wasn’t so good. My wife found a hair in the toilet from a previous guest...

Breakfast was ok but not for a 4 star hotel. You had to pay extra for espresso coffee and fresh orange juice. The dinner served in the buffet wasn’t 4 star quality either.

Lovely views everything else below 4 star standard

Review by Kurinuts Valencia, Spain

We stayed 2 nights which was VERY expensive marketed on the web site to include "free mini bar" which only contained 2 tins of beer and 4 soft drinks "Deluxe Breakfast" which transpired as a separate corner in the restaurant with table service for juice and coffee but buffet for food. I don't consider this deluxe. The bathroom is really plush only to be let down by the cheapest toilet tissue and none of the "girly" things normally found in all hotels i.e, Tissues and cotton pads for makeup , Won't be staying here again, we will return to our previous hotel.
