We recently stayed for a week, and all in all it was a good week but a few points definitely let the place down. The staff were all very polite and attentive - we had multiple issues with lifts breaking down, hairdryers sparking and not all amenities which were supposed to be in the room actually provided, but when flagged they were sorted. The food selection was quite poor in my opinion - compared to other 4* hotels the choice lacked in the buffet restaurant and the food at the snack bar wasn't great quality. There was just about something to suit everyone's taste but variety was extremely limited which was a shame. We went all inclusive and I have to say this is possibly the worst hotel I've stayed in for all inclusive. The majority of cocktails were not included and even some of the hot drinks - there seemed to be a big focus on upselling which isn't great when you've already paid large amounts for the holiday package, pertaining to be all inclusive, which should be viewed as a very loose interpretation of the term by anyone looking to book here. Whilst the level of cleanliness was very good, the attention to detail of the housekeepers was again lacking. They appear very reluctant to replenish anything in the rooms.. it seems you need to entirely run out of toilet paper before they supply more, and despite being told on arrival that the tea tray will be replenished to the tune of 2 tea and 2 coffee per day, it was only replenished one during the week and they didn't even change the clearly used/dirty mugs. The pool and outdoor area was great and our 10 year old loved the indoor pool when the sun got too much. In terms of entertainment- daytime entertainment was poor; a very lazy animation team who put next to no effort into creating an atmosphere in the day - activities were not 'advertised'; they just tended to stand gormlessly until people floated over to them to join in, meaning that unless you were actively looking, you wouldn't know anything was due to be happening. Evening entertainment was equally poor - some very lackluster tribute acts who left a lot to be desired and a magician with zero charisma. I would certainly suggest seeing Trivium at the Benidorm Palace if you want some proper entertainment - a late night but well worth it. Overall, it gave us the break in the sun with a pool that we were looking for but I wouldn't reccommend this hotel as there are far better out there. In my opinion more a 2/3 star - certainly not worthy of 4*.

Location good. Not far into Benidorm quite at night. Pool was good. Only allowed small floats and pool noodles. We hadn’t an issue with sunbeds but they do get taken up quickly. Air con wasn’t the best and at 35 degrees outside I would have preferred it to be cooler.

We went all inclusive and here’s where my issue was. A lot of the items required u to pay additional fee on top. So for example you could have a margarita pizza but if u want a ham pizza it was 3 euro. Soft drinks were included small tubs of ice cream included but no ice lollies where they were full price. Alcoholic drinks were the same with only a few different types included with the rest needing you to pay extra as well. I found the meals average. We found it very difficult to sort kids out at meal times. It was average. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Maids are so lovely and helpful. Entertainment wasn’t the best. The girls who do the activities again are lovely bar 1 who did appear grumpy. There are lifeguards on the pool.
