In a quieter location. Perfect for us   Right near the beach. Worth upgrading to a sea view room, our room was on floor 23, the views are spectacular. The food is ok, 
typical buffet style.
No cocktails included in the all inclusive package.
One pool closed for animation team to host activities, no water activities were held whilst we were there, so it's not fair to keep it closed all day.  Bus stop is at the side of the hotel so its easy to go and explore. Overall great for a short break but if you want to be in the centre of things, this is not the hotel for you.

Weekend away in benidorm

It’s a very nice and clean hotel , good location,  close to the sea  and shops, 43 stories hotel with amazing open view . The scenery was fantastic from each angles of the top hotel.
Staff were hard working and friendly and the maids were changing the bedding every day with our demands. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly one of the staff, I think Sophie, always smiling , with really fluently speaking English manners, she was helpful at any time we had a request. There were two restaurants and always you could find the food you liked , but I preferred the bottom floor, because the restaurant near reception needs better furniture 
The entertainment mainly was Spanish but enjoyable with lovely music , because more than two thirds of the guests were Spanish.
The spa was located at 19 floor, and the girl, Ana, she was amazing in massaging you .
The pools were nice, but  the sunbeds needed renovation  definitely .they weren’t in a good shape .
If you like good scenery and love the height I recommend to choose this hotel.

Nice hotel to choose

Went half board had to leave €300 deposit which we did not know about this.  It's in the small print so be careful read everything before booking. 
Bedroom was OK cleanish, beds comfy, bathroom  had separate shower and bath, bath very small,  shower over flowed as drainage was very slow. Both could do with updating.   No lock on balcony door. 
No kettle  in the room even if you all inclusive. Some people said all inclusive  was not worth it as most of the drinks you had to pay extra  for. There are good  cheap restaurants and bars are near by. 
Very slow at cleaning tables in the restaurants. 
Choose table for dinner put  sun glasses and 2 glasses of water went to get food came back and someone  else  was sitting at the table all our things where put on another table, the person sat there said the waiter had moved them. 

At  breakfast found dirty cups in with clean cups.   
  Only do fried eggs or scrambled eggs which were cold. You had to put anything in the microwave to have anything hot. 
Not much choice if you are vegetarian/ vegan/ or gluten free. 

Have stayed in better 2 stars never seen a 3.5/ 4 star. They would have to do alot of work to bring it up to what I call a 4 star hotel.

Disappointing  stay.

This was my first ever trip to Benidorm and my personal overall opinion of the hotel was an extremely good one. The staff were very helpful and spoke English, there are various bars and restaurants which all offer a variety of choice, the hotel is located in a very good place, with fantastic bars around the local area as well as a supermarket for ease, bus stop around the corner of the front right hand side of the hotel, which takes you into the centre of Benidorm for just one and half euros (numbers 03, 54), the number three also goes via the beach for a section whilst the 54 stays on the 'quicker route', whilst a taxi back in the early hours averaged out at 15 euros. Plenty of sunbed availability, which was a big selling point of me choosing this hotel, with good pools, contrary to reviews I read I had no issue with elevator waiting time. The rooms and balcony were good and clean, shower working perfectly, housekeeping were very good, helpful and polite. The only issue I would raise (probably more so due to my profession being a hygienist specialist) was that there are various hand sanitisers around the hotel with signs saying hand sanitiser MUST be used, but all were found to be empty. Happy to answer any questions anybody may have with regards to my review.

Would stay here again. Ideally located on the outside of the cetre with easy access to the cetre

2nd time staying at the Hotel Gran Bali , the hotel itself is a beautiful structure, polite staff , lovely pools , ideal for bus and taxi as the ranks are outside, lots of space in this hotel never struggle to find a sun lounger , they’ll change money in there also and there’s some shops 
We stayed bed and breakfast as it suits us as we like to eat out and the New York cafe bar opposite can’t be faulted fresh very decently priced food 
We found breakfast had gone downhill not the choice that used to be there no sliced watermelons or chopped fruit to put in a bowl etc , not much bread choice and yoghurts all the good ones go very quick and aren’t replenished 
The rooms are fine a bit dated but decent sized and clean , your not buying the hotel 
Down side to me is the entertainment it’s shocking mostly Spanish singing dancing acts which are not very good suits older Spanish couples but not geared for everyone and it’s the same acts we seen 2 years ago , I’d seriously go out of the hotel for entertainment

Good but gone down a bit

It is the most emblematic of Benidorm and the tallest hotel in Europe. With stunning architecture, restaurants and pool area including a large lagoon pool ,also a children's pool. The rooms and suites offer a perfect combination of design, functionality and comfort. They are modern and comfortable rooms, all outdoors. *** CHILDREN: 2 TO 12 YEARS
