Pool

Nice hotel, central to all the nightlife.  Rooms are clean but not very sound proof.  Unfortunately our room was opposite the lift and a constant throng of people coming and going didn’t provide a very good nights sleep.  
Didn’t eat at the hotel but it seemed to have good facilities

Decent overnight stopping place

This has became our go to hotel whenever we visit Benidorm! Booked direct with the hotel for the first time and had no issues, very prompt reply to the email we sent with a room request and payment taken on arrival.

We arrived early and the room wasn't ready but we managed to store our luggage in the arrival room (eventually, a lot of people arrived at the same time!) We were allocated the room we requested which was a great start. Rooms are large and very clean and comfortable with great size balconies including a drying rack for laundry.

We had the half board dining option, both breakfast and dinner were plentiful and very fresh, chefs were out constantly checking the food and bringing more out.

All the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful especially Angeles (?) on reception when we arrived. 

I love the fact that you need a key card to access the toilets area, this makes you feel very safe in the hotel as there are so many people around in this area.

Will most definitely be booking another stay for our next visit and hoping for the same room again!

My favourite Benidorm hotel!

Stayed for one night at this hotel for the first time and it won’t be the last already booked for October. The staff on reception were really helpful we arrived really early so room not ready which we expected but we were checked in and given a key to use the baggage storage room and toilets and could use the pool area. I was gutted as weather was amazing and the pool is heated a must for next time take the swimmers. The hotel is spotless everywhere. We had a standard double which was on the side opp Penny Farthing great double glazing never heard any road noise. No tea making facilities although you can get them at reception. Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment. Will definitely recommend this hotel

Excellent stay

We went here for Christmas and new year having read the reviews. How disappointed we were it’s not a hotel for English it’s all set up for Dutch and the food reflects this, Christmas Day was absolutely awful turkey balls horrible and it was the same every day things like ox cheek and strange stews. The room was nice staff are lovely but no one goes in the bar downstairs as they all go round the corner to the Dutch bar we’d sometimes sit there on our own for most of the night. New Year’s Eve meal was slightly better they did have prawns

Not for English disappointing

This time we had single rooms due to us booking last minute. They overlooked the back of the hotel, mine was a corner room so I got more to look at!  Granted just more hotels but it was last minute.
Single rooms just as clean and tidy as the rest, beds smaller but no worries still great.
Hotel seems to be getting better!!! Never looks tired and always spotless.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. I can appreciate they are busy during the high season, take a breath and wait if not seen to instantly! You're on holiday chill.
Second time visited The Helios and we have booked for a third time in September 2025....my birthday week...hint hint...LOL.
