Comfortable and decorated to a high standard, the hotel is ideally located near the Poniente Beach, the Old town and Benidorm's central shopping area.

We’ve been in this hotel for nearly an week and loved it! It was so peaceful and quiet. 10 minutes away from the old town and strip so it doesn’t take long to get there at all. The facilities are wonderful and the staff are so welcoming.
Only downside is a large group arrived over the past few days and since then the calming music that was round the pool has been changed to very loud party music which makes relaxing very difficult. This can be heard at an extreme volume even in the hotel room. This group has been allowed to yell and shout, disturbing guests who just wanted to chill out. We’ve even had a few strangers come over to us and complain about the same group.
It’s just a shame that one group can change the hotel drastically. The hotel was so calm and tranquil a few days ago and it’s now just loud and hectic just for one group.
It’s such a shame as we thought we found the perfect hotel in Benidorm.
First visit to Mercure Benidorm, unlikely to be last. The staff are the key; they were all friendly and helpful all the time. From welcoming us with a smile at 6.30am after a 12-hour flight delay, to fixing a leaky toilet within 30 minutes, to helping us with airport transfers, to enabling a move to a room with terrace - they were lovely.
Hotel is in a great location, a short stroll to Old Town and Poniente Beach and an easy walk to “the strip”, other beaches and the Tram station for a day trip to Alicante. Lots of bars and restaurants close by to choose from to eat Tapas, “see the sights” or just sit and watch world go by in the sun.
Rooms and communal areas were always very clean. Buffet breakfast had plenty of choice with tables inside and out. Pool seemed fine with loungers mostly in shade but if full sun is your thing 5 miles of sand and sea at the end of the street.
Only downside (totally out of hotel control) was the seriously noisy road works in the next street. The pile driver started at 8am – our cue to get up and out to enjoy the sunshine. Don't let the noise put you off!
Beautiful hotel with a very relaxed atmosphere. Suitated in a perfect location, 5mins from beach. Rooms comfortable with lovely views overlooking the pool and garden area. Staff were incredible helpful when I became unwell, they called emergency Dr and continued to monitor my health for remainder of my holiday. Dining room and food fantastic. Buffet breakfast and a delicious A la Carte, evening menu. Would definitely consider a return visit.
This is our last day staying at this lovely hotel, but unfortunetly due to the massive construction work & noise going on we have note enjoyed the facilities disrupted by this horrendous noise, due to communicstion with TUI been unable to move hotels, advice tp anyone who booked this hotel.check the work being carried out beforehand.dont expect a tranquil holiday at present
Just returned home from our third stay at this beautiful hotel, and once again, we couldn’t fault it! ❤️
The rooms are super comfortable, the gardens are absolutely gorgeous, and the pool area is the perfect place to relax. The location in the Old Town is fantastic, making it so easy to explore everything the area has to offer.
But what really makes this hotel special is the wonderfully friendly and welcoming staff. Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel at home.
A special mention has to go to Jose, who works tirelessly to keep the pool area looking beautiful and was always so friendly and welcoming whenever we saw him. He really is a credit to the hotel!
We’ve loved every one of our three stays and will definitely be back again. Already looking forward to our next visit! ☀️🍹❤️
