Costa Blanca

The RH Princesa Hotel in Benidorm is one of the best. Impeccable in every respect; it has been beautifully designed and built, and occupies an enviable position, right in the heart of Benidorm. You've got access to everything that this thriving holiday capital can give you. Just 600 metres away you'll see Levante beach. A short stroll away, all the shops, restaurants and bars of Benidorm are yours to explore. And, on top of all that, the Hotel RH Princesa gives you some of the best amenities in the Costa Blanca.

The Hotel RH Princesa is one the finest hotels in the Costa Blanca:

Just promise us you'll savour the experience of coming home to your hotel every evening! With its smart reception area, its impeccable parquet floors and its fabulous facilities, the RH Princesa Hotel is yours to fall in love with. Just look at those facilities! That outdoor swimming pool has to be one of the finest in the Costa Blanca. The indoor pool has been built to the very highest standards. The restaurant is light, airy and inviting.

Here at the RH Princesa Hotel, there's a wonderfully fresh, Mediterranean feel about the decor that makes staying here so pleasurable. The RH Princesa Hotel makes the most of natural light so that you always feel close to the outside. Twin rooms all have balconies too so that you can get out and really make the most of those views and let the light in. The parquet floors maintain that sunny, Mediterranean feel and rooms are designed for comfort. With en suite bathrooms, air conditioning and piped music, you can really lie back and relax. Rooms are also equipped with satellite TV, telephone and hairdryer.

Something else the Princesa Hotel does very well is keep its guests entertained. With day and night entertainment programmes running throughout the year; musical programmes too, there's always something to help make staying in feel like the new going out.

There's a TV room too, as well as a lounge bar with free Wi-Fi, and even a babysitting service. We also recommend the wonderful Jacuzzi – and you really must try the hydro massage…or for some serious relaxation book yourself into the Spa and wellness centre for a few hours (at a fee).

The RH Princesa Hotel is one of those rare and special things – a hotel that looks as good as it sounds, and vice versa.

Please note that single rooms do not have a balcony.

Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Lovely hotel, shame about the food,

Review by carlyrazz Peterborough, United Kingdom

We had an ok week at the hotel. Rooms were ok, kept clean as was the rest of the hotel. Staff were friendly even in the restaurant where they never had a free moment...

The pool is too small for the amount of guests. At times you couldn’t move in there. There is the usual Spanish mad rush for beds as soon as the gates open at 10. If you don’t get there then, you’ll have no chance of a bed until late afternoon. The jacuzzi is not to be used for anyone under 14, stupid tule but the lifeguards were in their element telling everyone off. Also, no smoking or vaping by the pool, you have to go out the front of the hotel. There are 2 levels of AI, never have I seen this, you are allocated a silver band when you book but can upgrade to a gold band on arrival. This gives you branded drinks and better snacks - we didn’t upgrade. The snack bar - my god the food up there was awful, when it was open. It seemed to open and close at random times of the day, one day of our stay it didn’t open until 4pm. There was a choice of burger, hot dog, toastier and chips. Entertainment was awful, we stayed for the pirate/sword thrower act but apart from that 5 minutes was enough and we would go out to the old town. The breakfast was the same as every other AI in Spain, nothing really to comment. Lunch and evening meal was shocking. We always opt for all inclusive as we have 2 kids and wherever we have been in the past they always eat well, in no way are they fussy eaters and neither are myself or my husband but some nights there was nothing to make a meal from. All of the reviews we read on here praise the food - they must have been somewhere else because it was rubbish. The thought of going to the restaurant every evening filled me with dread, we used to go there, have a look and then go down to town and get some real food. I missed 2 days of my holiday due to being ill in my room which I can narrow down to the pork in the restaurant on the Thursday evening. Overall, we will not be back - a trip to Benidorm was on my husbands bucket list, we’ve done it now, we won’t be back!

Really lovely family hotel

We had a lovely 10 days at the Princesa, we booked on the basis of the reviews here and they were spot on. My views are as follows:-

Perfect for families, great entertainment and pools for the kids. The food was really lovely, great choice, fresh, you could not fault it. The staff all over the hotel were so nice, really made us feel at home, nothing was too much trouble, it was like they were there to ensure you had a lovely time, they make the hotel and I hope they are appreciated by management. The hotel is spotless, the cleaners are brilliant. We booked a Double Superior that had two singles, a pull out single and a cot, this was due to availability when we booked. Little bit small for two adults, a 7 year old and a baby but it was fine, you don't spend much time there. The pool and pool bar area were kept very clean, the lifeguards are always on alert which is good to see.

In a nutshell, I'd recommend this hotel to anyone, we had a lovely relaxing time...

As I said, the staff make this hotel.

Definately Recommend

Review by pajawa Nuneaton, United Kingdom

Check-in was smooth and simple. Hotel grounds were immaculate! Room cleaned every morning to a superb standard. We didn't go full board as we like to eat out but we did try the breakfast twice which was very nice and plentiful (shame no hash browns though).

The only issues was our air-conditioning just wasn't cold enough, it's absolutely boiling in the lifts and the pool is a bit small for the number of guests...

We did have a rude bartender (Jorge). We ordered 2 alcohol cocktails and 1 mocktail for our son. When he returned he said "there you go, 2 mocktails and 1 with alcohol" My parter said, "Oh I'll need another alcohol one then". He replied aggressively, "my friend how many drinks do you want?" We explained 2 alcohol and 1 mocktail. He then said, "that's what you have." Whe we got back to our room we checked our receipt to find we have been charged for 3 cocktails... Thankfully his antics didn't spoil our holiday.

We would definately return as this is a great hotel, quiet neighbourhood and only a short 5 minute walk to the old town.

A fabulous hotel.

Review by neilmK6342SJ Washington, United Kingdom

We have spent a week at this hotel, 4 adults and 2 children and I would rate it as follows:

Staff - Exceptionally professional and friendly.

Food - Brilliant (full board). The choice and variation of food was superb.

Accommodation - Excellent. The rooms were very comfortable and the housekeeping was 1st class.

Hotel facilities - Superb...

The hotel is immaculate and the staff obviously take great pride in their establishment.

Overall, one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. We could not recommend it highly enough. Thank you to the management and staff for a fantastic holiday. You made the whole experience one to remember.

Neil and Julie Marsden. ❤️

Amazing hotel, even better staff

We have just returned from an amazing stay at the Princessa. The rooms were good, the facilities were excellent, but the staff truly makes this place stand out. From Luca and Alex on entertainment, all of the bar staff upstairs, they always have a great attitude and nothing is a bother for them...

There's also the man who works on the pool bar, I didn't get his name but he works so hard, always serving, cleaning, he deserves so much credit for keeping the poolside looking so tidy all the time as well as looking after guests. The food was excellent too. Different choices every meal time. Can't fault the hotel, and we will definitely be back in the future
