That outdoor swimming pool has to be one of the finest in the Costa Blanca. The indoor pool has been built to the very highest standards. The restaurant is light, airy and inviting.
Here at the RH Princesa Hotel, there's a wonderfully fresh, Mediterranean feel about the decor that makes staying here so pleasurable. The RH Princesa Hotel makes the most of natural light so that you always feel close to the outside. Twin rooms all have balconies too so that you can get out and really make the most of those views and let the light in. The parquet floors maintain that sunny, Mediterranean feel and rooms are designed for comfort. With en suite bathrooms, air conditioning and piped music, you can really lie back and relax. Rooms are also equipped with satellite TV, telephone and hairdryer.
Something else the Princesa Hotel does very well is keep its guests entertained. With day and night entertainment programmes running throughout the year; musical programmes too, there's always something to help make staying in feel like the new going out.
There's a TV room too, as well as a lounge bar with free Wi-Fi, and even a babysitting service. We also recommend the wonderful Jacuzzi – and you really must try the hydro massage…or for some serious relaxation book yourself into the Spa and wellness centre for a few hours (at a fee).
The RH Princesa Hotel is one of those rare and special things – a hotel that looks as good as it sounds, and vice versa.
Please note that single rooms do not have a balcony.
With the Levante beach just 500 metres and shops a mere 50 metres away, the 4 star Hotel RH Princessa occupies an enviable position in the centre of Benidorm. Parquet floors (in rooms & corridors) and a modern Mediterranean décor give this hotel a feeling of warmth and real quality.
The RH Princessa boasts a wealth of amenities including an indoor and outdoor pool, fully equipped spa and wellness centre (at a fee), a large bar and lounge and free Wi-Fi.
I stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago, with my children, and fortunately am coming back 24th April 2021 with my new girlfriend.
I chose this hotel because of the following reasons. Food - was excellent...
Every day had something different for breakfast lunch and dinner, table service for drinks, couldn’t fault anything. We are like we were starved. It was so nice.
Rooms- the rooms were spacious, tea and coffee, kettle, large and with air con. The bathroom had everything we needed, and the balcony overlooking the small pool was fantastic with a nice view.
Entertainment - something for everyone, English, Spanish and others. My children were also Involved in some of the acts which was great for them. We were all welcomed.
Drinks - drinks were great, although we were limited to locally drinks were my parents had a different coloured card so could get premium drinks. Something which I hope I can get in April.
Swimming pools and spa was amazing. Couldn’t fault it at all.
All in all, this is a fantastic hotel, and like I said I’m already coming back in April. I’d advice anyone to stay here. It’s perfect, and by far the best hotel I’ve stayed in.
Many thanks RH princesa.
We stayed at the RH Princesa Hotel for a week on all inclusive basis for a week last November for my birthday. My wife has been there before and this is why chose this hotel. Location just being a 5 minute walk or so to the beach and to the old town and with the new town being about 15 minutes walk away so there was very little noise at night...
Being November most of the new town was quiet but as we preferred the old town we stayed mostly in that area. The hotel was great, very comfortable room with a nice view over the pool. Food was very good with plenty of choice at all the meals. It did get a bit busy in the restaurant at the weekend as there did seem to be a lot of Spanish holiday makers in but quietened down in the week. The hotel brought up a bottle of prosecco on my birthday which was a nice touch. The weather was fine all week and certainly warm enough to go into the sea for a paddle and even the shops in the town centre were having Black Friday sales. We would definitely go back.
We had the pleasure of staying at this lovely hotel early March with our 3 y.o child. From the warm welcome by Juán at check in to the friendly and attentive bar staff (Juan, Jesus and co) we were constantly made to feel relaxed and at home.
We were kindly upgraded to a family room for free upon asking if one was available...
Reception staff were very attentive to our needs on several occasions including bringing a fan to our room. The room was great, no complaints!
The bar staff and in particular Carlos (dining room) were absolutely fantastic with our daughter, they delighted in seeing her happy and piled her with lots of treats and attention. The young male member of the entertainment team (sorry, his name escapes me) was a credit to your team, very kind and attentive. Please also commend him on his impeccable English.
The hotel has very high standards of hygiene and plenty of hand sanitiser points too. The outdoor kids play area was open and available to use all day- great place to let the kids run around safely.
We explored a lot of the local area by foot and took the number 18 bus to the local dinopark (which is right next to the waterfalls), cost around 7.50 euro return (kids free) but only runs once a day! We caught the bus from av.alfonso purchades which is only a few minute walk from the hotel. The journey takes around 40 minutes and the last bus home is 5pm sharp- well worth a visit if travelling with children.
Overall, a calm, quiet and relaxing place to enjoy Beautiful Benidorm. Staff will go above and beyond for you and make a fantastic effort with children- well done RH Princessa!
HOTEL LOCATION: Situated in the old town close to shops, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, public transport, promenade and beach. RECEPTION: Quick check in and out. Very helpful during our stay which unfortunately coincided with the Covid-19 situation and Spain’s lockdown, resulting in us having to cut short our 2 week stay to board a rescue flight home with Jet 2. LIFTS: Four lifts by reception and a pair of smaller lifts by the staircase. ROOM: Our room 816 was situated at the rear of the hotel overlooking the children’s play area and bowling green. The room’s position meant it lacked natural light, so room lights had to be left on all the time...
Having said that we were happy with the room because it had no rooms either side so was quiet and our balcony which had the usual furniture (table and 2 chairs) and a washing line was partially enclosed and not overlooked. The room was a reasonable size, stayed in smaller and larger. Storage space was just enough. Free safe in wardrobe. We took our own kettle, mugs, etc however reading other peoples reviews these were available free of charge from reception. We purchased tea/coffee, etc from the supermarket after we arrived. Mini bar/fridge was large enough to put your own items in. Beds were very comfy (we had two singles pushed together). Bathroom was compact with bath/shower, large mirror, hairdryer attached to wall, towels changed on request, toiletries replenished every day (soap, shower gel, shampoo, body lotion) there was also a welcome pack of toothbrush, shower cap and comb. Housekeeping throughout hotel was excellent. There were enough plug sockets in the room, a wall mounted TV with English channels and a complimentary bottle of water in room on arrival.
WIFI: Free - password and login details provided at check in.
RESTAURANT: Large and airy. Hotel was full whilst we were staying but never had any problems finding a table – we were HB. No complaints about the food at all it was lovely especially loved the porridge. Restaurant staff worked very hard and efficiently along with being happy and helpful. Drinks were charged separately as in most hotels.
POOLS: One main and children’s. Hotel had a terrace overlooking the main pool area which was nice to sit at with plenty of tables and chairs. The only downside like most places was the inconsiderate smokers. The main pool area had plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas.
ACTIVITIES: Full list on display on a board in reception – plenty to choose from for both adults and children. Daily newspapers available from the bar area and library of books (the usual left by previous guests).
EVENING ENTERTAINMENT: In bar area – enjoyed all the acts.
BUS STOP: Benidorm has been undergoing major road works for the past couple of years so bus stops have been moved around to accommodate this. The main bus and tram stations are 20 minutes walk away from hotel. So getting out and about was easy to do at reasonable prices.
SUPERMARKET: Large supermarket 5 minutes walk away which had everything you could need at UK prices. Turn left after exiting the hotel walk for about 3 minutes at the first crossroads turn left and the supermarket is 2 minutes away on your left hand side. CONCLUSION: We had visited Benidorm the previous year for the first time and stayed at the RH Victoria just around the corner from the RH Princesa which we enjoyed. During that stay we visited the RH Princesa and liked the atmosphere of the hotel - more things to do than the quieter more sedate RH Victoria. RH Princesa is a great hotel!!!!! We were very upset about having to cut short our 2 week stay due to the Covid-19 situation. Would definitely recommend the RH Princesa and will be rebooking as soon as possible to return.
Love this hotel great food lovely staff very clean and I had a single room. Room was good I have stopped here before with my wife in a front balcony room, kept very clean. I thought the hotel had a no stag and hen do rule, not anymore. All was well until a gang of five young lads arrived, lucky as the other part of their group had their flight cancelled, this was just prior to the lockdown...
Saturday evening shouting and noisy then at one fifteen they came up the stairs, not the lift, screaming and shouting to their rooms, nightmare! Would I come here again, yes but they need to get a grip!
