If you cannot speak Spanish please do not go to this hotel

Review by 1972SAP Luton, United Kingdom

Nice clean hotel. Bedrooms a bit dated but still clean. Food was buffet style and quite basic but plentiful plus there was a choice of wine and soft drinks available with dinner (both included in the half board price) Not much going on around the hotel, Evening entertainment was a snake show!! The thing that leads me to only give 3 stars is that no one (not even the receptionist) spoke English - the receptionish on duty had to call for help ftom another hotel - she was very helpful and explained there is some parking which cost 15 Euro;s per day...

No facilities for making hot drink in room

Great little hotel

Review by roquetera55 Roquetas de Mar, Spain

What a lovely friendly hotel we spent a weekend there . Check in was easy and we had booked parking the receptionist took me to show me where the parking was situated and explained how to get in , the parking wasn’t for the faint hearted but was safe and secure . Had a problem with the safe but someone came up and immediately solved the problem...

We booked half board but only went for breakfast we think there was a good choice but unfortunately the other guests were very rude and selfish ( not the hotel ‘s fault )? And it was a bit like a rugby scrum to get to the buffet . But that aside a nice hotel conveniently situated in the old town area of Benidorm. Excellent reception staff .

Awful, outdated hotel. Must be avoided.

Review by julieY3065PS Alcossebre, Spain

This hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment. The colour scheme in our bedroom was hidious, bright pea green wall, brown curtains, grey bed cover, orange multi colour sofa cover, large , multi coloured light screens above the bed, pine wood effect floor which was damaged and broken. The bathroom too needed an urgent replacement : tiles and grout dirty, bath taps coming away from the wall, big blue stain on shower curtain., ceiling was disgusting...

The towels were very thin and poor quality. The air con didn't work in the bedroom neither in the lifts. The hotel needs to designate a proper smoking area, not just the front entrance. Non smokers had to walk through clouds of smoke and cigarette ends on the floor. The food in the dining room was poorly presented and poor quality. Food which should have been hot was cold. The only good thing about this hotel was the maitre Frank, who was professional, charming and efficient, he couldn't have done more to make all guests feel welcome, but his efforts were let down by the food. The waitress Judith was also very pleasant and willing to help. We thought that the habit of taking large amounts of food away from the dining room to eat elsewhere was banned but it is very evident here.

Weekend away

Review by Mick1Rose Coventry, United Kingdom

A good hotel in a quiet location about 15 minutes from the old town. Rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. Plenty of choice for breakfast and of reasonable quality...

Enjoyed the rooftop pool area and a very good little bar just across the road.

arrived and went to room..well it was dark and smelld of cheap cleaner. the 2 windows faced onto brick walls . i spoke to the rude man at reception...

he eventually moved us to the sister hotel across the road. it was slightly better and wee had a balcony...a dirty one that faced into a block of flats. the food was disgusting on first night i had childs hot dog and some chips. would not recommend this hotel or cuco hotel if you have any standards.
