Costa Blanca

Set around a 700 sq. m lagoon-style pool, this modern resort offers the perfect venue for an unforgettable vacation in Benidorm. It is located in a quiet area of the town, a 12-minute walk from Levante beach and a 25-minute one from the centre and the Old Town. While the surroundings house a number of charming cafes, bars and shops and just a 10-minute walk away is the Real de Faula Golf Club. For the guests who simply want to relax the venue has everything that is needed - a mini market that is open 7 days a week, restaurant that serves full-course meals and a poolside bar where they can sip drinks and enjoy the lovely Mediterranean weather. When the weather isn't that great the heated indoor pool takes over as the place where to be and the steam room and the fitness centre become a lot more enjoyable.

Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Honest review

Stayed here for a week in July, lovely place and staff were brill. Rooms were spotless, we thought anyway. Unfortunately we were there when the 'poo pool' incident happened, although it only happened the once when we were there, it was no biggy...

The staff did everything they could to clean the pool ready for people to jump back in. Not ideal, no, however it's not the hotels fault. If you know you child can't control its bodily functions, get a swimmer on them, simple! 'The hill'- now, I did read stories about this and yes, it's big. If it's hot like it was when we were there it really does feel like your walking into the depths of Hell. Do not, I repeat, do not attempt this in heels. It does add humour but you will look like a grade A idiot. The only problem we did have however was party central across from our room. Yes I know people are on holiday and are there to enjoy themselves but constantly ringing the door bell until early hours of the morning became a bit of a p*** take. Thing is, I never saw these people through the day to have a word. They must of partied all night and slept all day. Still, kn*****ds! So, just because Bob in Kent found egg shell in his breakfast or Vera from Cork didn't get her bed turned over daily, overall, it was a lovely place. Oh, a word of advice, please don't buy your kids recorders. Not everyone wants to stay awake at 1am!

Lovely pool/hotel

Stayed here for 10 nights in July, negatives would be the hill! It's not far in itself but in the hot weather it's a bit of a hike. We used taxis from the Poniente beach area, 7 euros, which was fine.

We had a very comfortable one bed apartment, I slept well so the bed was comfy for me and the air con was a godsend! Well equipped kitchen area with kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge/freezer and hob...

We were half board, breakfast was good, dinner harder for vegetarians but we never starved. Drinks with dinner being included in half board plus saved us a bit of money.

Best bits - the pool!! It was a good size and shape, with shallow areas, a jacuzzi section and a fun water-bucket thing which emptied over happy children. Some mornings there would be a giant inflatable in the pool which was fun (the days are advertised next to reception). Unlike any other Spanish holiday, I found I could always get a sunbed at whatever time I wanted one - this makes things a lot more relaxing! There was an entertainment act on most nights - magician, that kind of thing - the parrots were a favourite with my kids! A visit to Terra Mitica from the hotel is 10euros in a taxi and had hardly any queues when we went.

I would have no problem recommending this hotel.

Please stop kids pooing in the pool

Review by shazneli Birmingham, United Kingdom

Room was basic but nice, we had a good view facing the mountains and the sea. Staff were very nice reception helpful calling taxis etc

No late checkout available for 7.30 pm pick up, pool closed almost every day for 3 hours as kids were allowed to use the pool with no swim nappies and poo inbotwhich totally ruined our experience, non existent day time entertainment, evening entertainment advertised was very basic so we went out every evening which cost a fortune as in the middle of nowhere. No food after 3 pm unless you wanted to pay for dinner at 7, music piped round the pool on a loop and not exactly an exciting selection...

OK if you have young kids but very boring for teens

Wouldn't visit again, this was our first holiday since covid and we had high hopes which sadly were not fulfilled

Not good at all!!

Review by NadineandScott Cardiff, United Kingdom

I genuinely feel bad writing this review but I feel I need too. This place is a joke. The staff spend more time rushing you off at closing time that being hospitable...

The security guard got a coffee before me whilst jumping the queue. The pool constantly closed for hours with kids dropping off their logs. Expensive drinks and snacks, poor supermarket, Completely out of the way will cost u a 12 euro taxi round trip into old Benidorm and 15 euro into new Benidorm. The heat in the bar is too much. Surely there has to be some legislation in Spain around the heat their making their staff work in! Disgraceful place I wouldn’t return here if it was free. Couple of positives Some pleasant staff most though as I said more concerned about getting u out of there at closing that serving u. Security guard is a jumped up jobs worth too! Don’t expect help to room with cases, maid services every other day and very basic to say the least. Entertainment hit and miss and basically closes when they feel like it. Disappointed customers all around.

Whoever owns this business has no customer focused attitude whatsoever and no business sense!! Kicking paying customers out at 1130pm on holiday! Lol joker

Terrible Terralta

Lovely pool area when you can actually use it! massive shame about a child pooing in the pool the whole week we was there resulting in the pool closing everyday for 3/4 hours, my grandson got very poorly from all issues with poo in the pool and ended up having a trip to hospital. On the last day of the holiday the hotel finally did something about this and was giving out swim nappies after us asking everyday for them to hand a letter out to everyone or make an announcement, I understand this can happened once but for 7 days is a piss take…there’s children in this hotel going in the swimming pool naked! This issues ruined our whole holiday having two children who couldn’t use the pool for 3/4 hours a day always during the hottest time of the day!

Our bathroom door didn’t close meaning you couldn’t go to the toilet or have a shower in private.

food is only open till 3pm then you can’t get anything unless your half board at 7pm there’s some food which also isn’t very good hardly any choice specially for children! There’s a shop in the hotel but there’s not a lot of choice in there.

On check out the guy at reception was very rude, we was just taking out suitcases outside and a pushchair and he shouted us back saying you haven’t even given the key back, we was going to do so as soon as we put the suitcases outside!

This hotel is a good walk away from anything there’s nothing near by without a good long walk.

Love Benidorm but wouldn’t ever say at this hotel again
