Once and never again

Review by Coastal692595

I am 52 years old and have travelled all over the world staying in numerous hotels and never have I been told that on checking out I have to leave the hotel premises. I understand that you need to check out of your room by a certain time and that the hotel might not be able to accommodate a request for late checkout, but that you are politely asked to move out of the premises on checking out is shameful Obviously all blamed on COVID!! Surely these hotels should plan for incoming guests and for those that are leaving, that might still have had plans to make use of the hotel facilities on the day of departure!!! And to add insult to injury this was on the back of the day before one of the main pools at the resort beach club being closed for hours due to a kid having done his necessities in the water ruining the day for my grandson as well as us as the rest of the facilities as a result were overwhelmed and overcrowded. Out of 3 night 4 days 2 of the days ruined! Never again!!!!

Middle of nowhere

Review by janice g St Helens, United Kingdom

Just got back from 2 weeks here. Originally booked into the vistamar but were moved a week before departure. Complex is absolutely huge...

Beautiful apartment. Clean towels every day. We were self catering so couldn't comment on food except to say if we wanted to dine, buffet style, it was 25 euros each which I thought was rather pricey. Just be aware of booking, this complex is absolutely miles from anything. No beach. Impossible to walk to anything. On the plus side, bus service was quite good.

Great Hotel

Review by Richard B London, United Kingdom

My family had a lovely holiday here. This is a massive complex, with lots to do. The staff were very friendly, and the service was very good...

Our room was a very good size, with a large balcony area. They have astro turf around the pools, which is a lot safer than the usual tiled/concrete flooring you get. Staff come around the pool giving out cocktails. There is a massive selection of food to choose from, and all cooked to a decent standard. Our room was immaculately cleaned every day, with fresh bedding and towels. Would definitely recommend if you can get it for a good price.

Six year old daughter left upset after visit

Review by xnickywickywoox

Visited Polynesia Hotel. Beautiful hotel. Room was lovely...

Great entertainment, however its too far away from the shops for kids to be able to walk. What really left a bad taste in my mouth is the way the hotels are letting feral kittens suffer. They should be trapping and neutering them so they can't breed. My 6 year old daughter and I found this very upsetting. There are no charities available for these poor starving animals. Hotel needs to take responsibility on their land and trap and neuter/spey. The hotel claims on it's welcome leaflet that they don't tolerate animal abuse?
