Hotel Palmasol

Not 4 star. Arrived and had to wait nearly 2 hours before the room was ready. Room very small as was the bathroom. No room for suitcases etc. Beds comfy , and breakfast was good. Kids running up and down the corridors , slaming doors . Corridors stank of weed . Rooms not cleaned properly and the balcony was not cleaned once, dirty towels left and toilet roll not replaced.
Not good for anyone with mobility issues. Pool area grubby , not sure why folk were queuing for sunbeds for over an hour in the mornings. Very outdated , reminded me of an butlins holiday camp.

The location of the hotel is great just behind the puerto marina with plenty of shops and stunning scenery. Get to it out the main entrance and down the steep hill or past the pool area down some steps and out the locked gate We found this hotel more suited for adults and very little for children to do. You are not allowed anything at all in the pool not even a ball or pool noodle !! Plus no jumping in. The hotel is very quiet perfect if you want a quiet holiday with nothing going on. There is minimal entertainment throughout the day and night. The team is friendly and energetic. Our room was small compared to other hotels with lack of storage for 3 of us bonus we got a thin quilt and very comfy beds but child bed had just a sheet and the mattress was split in two and moved a lot. The child’s bed was put right under AC so had to be switched off at night as it was to cold. Hotel was clean dining area small but food of good standard apart from the coffee out of machine wasn’t great. Wrist band was used as key to enter rooms and you preload it at reception to pay for your drinks or food in hotel. We wouldn’t return as it’s just not suitable for children to many rules in pool .

We have just returned from a 7 night stay, as a family of 5 (4 adults, 1 child). The hotel was clean and modern looking. The hotel location was excellent. Pool are was clean and well maintained. The wristbands access the all inclusive and also act as the room key. This would be great if they worked consistently. All 5 of us had to have our bands reset by reception multiple times, many times we had queued for drinks only to to told the bands were not working and we would need to get them reset to obtain our drinks! The all inclusive package was not great compared to other places we have stayed. Limited alcohol choices, not a vast amount of snacks available. The food was fine, we always found something we all wanted to eat. The breakfast was the best food wise. All inclusive doesnt start until 11am even for soft drinks. With hindsight we may have been better going half board. We had 2 rooms. The room that 3 of us shared was really small, nowhere to put 3 suitcases and still be able to walk in the room. Cleaning staff cleaned 1 of our rooms every day, but the other only once, despite putting the sign on the door every day. Sunbeds were a massive issue. People queue from 8am when the pool doesnt open until 9.30am. If we wanted beds we had no choice but to queue. We had to eat in shifts because the lifeguards removed towels after 30 mins. We felt the hotel was really strict about its rules, and this felt a bit much at times. They do not allow any form of inflatable or balls in the pool at all, and multiple people were told off about this while we were there. My husband was told off for not having a top on to get a drink after coming from the pool. The man serving him was really rude. The saving grace were the entertainment girls, especially Isabella. They work really hard and are a lot of fun!
