This pleasant hotel is situated just a stone's throw from Benalmádena's Torrequebrada Beach on the Costa del Sol. It features 2 outdoor pools, 2 bars and a restaurant. Numerous boutiques, cafés, bars and restaurants are found in the neighbourhood. The Torrequebrada Golf Course is next to the hotel, the Benalmádena Casino can be reached within a short walk. Málaga International Airport is only a short drive away.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
had a fab time was thinking of booking again for next year again but cant remember if we had a superior room or a twin room with fridge lost booking info room number was 628 6th floor with fab views over the sea
Stayed 10 nights in early September. Hotel well located just 2 mins walk to beach and main promenade. Hotel clean and well run. Room was big enough for 2 people and well equipped. Bathroom was well equipped with a good shower. Housekeeping every day with towel change when required. Kettle in room with tea and coffee replenished every day, nice touch. Restaurant was generally clean with a good selection of food across breakfast and dinner. What let it down was cleanliness of crockery and cutlery. A lot of them had dried in food particles stuck to them. We reported this in a survey carried out by a manager after breakfast on maybe our 3rd day. She said it was a dishwasher problem they were trying to rectify. Although it improved slightly over the following days it was still evident at the end of our 10 days. Pool area was nice and clean. It was good to see that references to poor sunbeds in numerous reviews over past 12 months was acted on. The new sunbeds were very good. Entertainment, although mostly catering for Spanish guests, was enjoyable to watch and listen to. Overall a good experience that was let down by the cleanliness of the crockery.
Arrived at Med playa Alba Hotel to be greeted with very accommodating receptionist, Room 309 was very clean, tidy through out our holiday. very good location to Bars and restaurants and bus stops to several destinations. on the downside of the hotel my complaint was that the food was not up to standard, regarding the heat of the so called warm diners, trays of food where left to long and becoming to cold to eat. the replenishment turn around was not satisfactory enough and when approaching restaurant manager he agreed that it was cold but with no satisfactory outcome. Microwaves where provided to heat your meals which to me at this day and age and being urged not reheat food is somewhat very irresponsible of the hotel catering. Some cutlery Bowls , Plates, Spoons ,Knives and forks where replaced back for diners use not cleaned properly which made us eat out on several occasions. Hotel entertainment lasted three quarters of an hour each night. Hotel good enough to sleep in but as for restaurant we will not be back.
Brilliant location great bars shops beach and bus stop at end of road Hotel is so clean and staff very helpful and friendly. Lots of choice for food which is excellent. Pool and sun area very nice. Would definitely book to come here again. Very good value for money
Fantastic hotel .staff .rooms .food pool will be back again 1st visit 10 out of 10 .. MORNING ...activities really good fun plenty too pick from as in games always a good crowd took part .have to say ,ALVARO excellent job 👏 kept us busy plenty off laughter and cheers
