We recently returned from this Hotel. It is a lovely hotel but a little tired in places.
We had a privilege room on the 6th floor, lovely and clean but the bath needs removing and replacing with a walk in shower. It was actually dangerous getting in and out and my husband and I had to help each other as it was easy to fall. 
The big disappointment was the food because it was barely warm. The only things that were hot,  was if you had an omelette or fried eggs made to order for breakfast or the meat / fish cooked to order in the evening.  The breakfast fresh fruit could have been better, as it was in the evening. 
Also a very big issue is the fact that when they pick up the raw meat or fish, they then use the same utensils to turn the meat/ fish as they cook it.
They should use different utensils, for raw and cooked. I had an upset stomach on the last evening possibly caused by this.
The hotel was a bit further out of Estepona than we anticipated, and we  love to walk. It meant we didn’t experience the evening vibe in town. 

As we were in a Privilege Room, we had access to the Spa for 90 minutes. Again, we found this to be tired and in need of refurbishment.
We both agree that most of the staff are very friendly and helpful, and there are no complaints about them.

I’m not sure we would return to this hotel or Estepona, it is lovely to experience Estepona but don’t think there would be much more to see if we returned. 
Also there are absolutely no shops any where near, the only thing is a petrol garage about 600 meters that sells snacks. ( left out of the front of the hotel)

We met lovely people whilst here, Geoff1502 and his lovely wife and Paul and Carole.

NOTE. We highly recommend a private transfer if you can afford. It takes about 2 and a half hours by travel operator coach and just over an hour by taxi or private transfer.

People were picked up at 7.30 am by coach, we were picked up at 10 am by private transfer for the same flight.

From the moment we arrived the staff made us feel most welcome, from reception, housekeeping, waiting and the blue team activities. We had a room in the Prestige suite of rooms on the 6th floor with balcony overlooking the sea, it was very special. The food was varied and very good. There was entertainment every night and fitness activities every day, which were very well run. There was also a Spa where we enjoyed a hot stone massage. We really enjoyed our stay and were a bit sad to leave. We would definitely return.

Lovely stay

we had a lovely stay , all the hotel staff we found to be very helpful and friendly.  I thought the buffet breakfast and diner was very good and well managed, and it was lovely to be able to sit outside  . It was also good to be able to swap evening meal for lunch . We loved the chillout bar, the seating there is very comfortable, and the drinks good.  It was a bonus to have free sunloungers on the beach, the sea was lovely , clean and warm.,yes we would visit again, thankyou.

great hotel

Very isolated hotel, no shops or bars nearby, really lovely hotel situated on the beach, breakfast not good, constantly running out of everything, very slow to fill up even when requested, very understaffed, evening dinner food good, but again constantly having to try to catch the waitress eye to get a drink to go with your meal, sometimes getting to dessert before it arrives, cleaning ladies brilliant, cannot be faulted , very polite and happy, but dining staff and bar staff look quite miserable. I’m guessing it could be because it’s the end of the season but nonetheless the standards need to remain, room 576 extremely noisy in the morning, not sure if it’s hotel staff or delivery people but not much consideration given to sleeping guests early in the morning, had a nice holiday but wouldn’t stay here again, too far away from anything , entertainment is an acquired taste, but leaves a lot to be desired, so plenty of early nights, every cloud, taxis cheap enough to get to harbour or town , buses run to but not sure from where , rooms with bathrooms not very nice if you are not fully mobile or have disabilities as stepping in with no hand rails very unsafe, did require rubber mat but still doesn’t feel safe , still has an enjoyable time as we have friends that live in Estepona but as previously stated wouldn’t go back.

A little disappointed at remoteness .but my fault for not checking.

Can fully recommend this wonderful hotel. All inclusive had everything that you would want. The staff were ever so efficient and helpful too. I would recommend this hotel if you want a luxurious holiday with an excellent spa and swimming pools
