Great Hotel (almost)

We booked this hotel as a weekend away in the sunshine. Overall we had a good weekend and wasn't disappointed. The hotel was spotlessly clean and all the Covid 19 safety measures were in place to keep us as safe as possible.

There was plenty of food to choose from at meal times, however, we was allocated the 19:30hrs slot and the fresh meat cooking station was never ready so we all ended up queuing for 5-10 minutes until the meat was cooked. In my option, if the restaurant opens at 19:30hrs the grill/food should be ready. Saying that the food at all meals was lovely with plenty of choice.

All the staff are friendly and accommodating so we won't hesitate to return.

We have just returned from a very relaxing week away. Much of this was due to the hotel being in a very quiet, beach front location and of course the lovely staff. The hotel is very well maintained and cared for by all its hotel team. The rooms are big and as other reviewers have commented if you can stretch the budget to a sea view room it’s well worth it. We stayed in one of the swim up rooms and were not disappointed. The choice of food available was amazing as you’d expect from a buffet. At meal times we were allocated a 45 minute time slot to keep the numbers down and whether it was this or it being at the end of September it was never overly busy. We tended to go in 10 to 15 minutes into the time slot and never had to queue. I would recommend an all inclusive package, however there are a very small number restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. There are a number of areas where you can sunbathe. Either round the pool, but this is where the entertainment team run their program of events so can be very noisy at times - but great for kids. There are 2 quieter areas at the beach end of the hotel over looking the sea which we preferred or additionally there are sun beds available on the beach (payable locally). I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. We had a very deserved much needed relaxing break. For anyone with health concerned about Covid-19 the hotel requests mask wearing in communal areas (but not when you are sitting down to eat or drink), to observe social distancing and the use of hand sanitizer points. From what we experienced all guests complied with this and we felt very safe with all the measures that the hotel had put in place. We wouldn’t hesitate to return. Fantastic staff

Recently stayed at the Iberostar, Estepona and was not disappointed. We booked a double room that was spacious and very clean, as is the rest of the hotel. I would like to say a huge thank you to the staff, from reception, catering and cleaners who never failed to acknowledge your presence with a friendly “hola”. The food was exceptional! We booked an all inclusive package and never failed to find something different to taste. The extra pounds l gained during this holiday says it all. Would not hesitate to book this hotel again.

Very clean but ….

Hotel was very clean, you could not fault them. Food was ok, my husband found the food Better than I did. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon, all I can say it was like walking into Butlins, kids everywhere and the noise. We did not realise that the hotel opens up to the Spanish at weekends from Friday, this is something I wish we had been aware of. We went to have lunch there was not a clean table and most of the food was gone. Due to so many people at the pool side we upgraded the room to the private swim up pool which was lovely, it overlooked the beach. If you want a quieter part to sunbath there are sun beds located by the snack bar on either side overlooking the beach. Got up on the Sunday and everywhere was peace and quite it was like this until Friday again. The hotel caters very much for the Spanish, there were six different milks at breakfast but all were in Spanish, also the entertainment team talked us into playing Bingo, again all in Spanish which we found quite funny as you can imagine we didn’t win. The smoking area is right where you have to enter reception area, as we are not smokers you had to hold your breath to walk through not nice. There is a daily Charge for your safe also and a deposit for towels which you get back when you check out. Would we stay here again, I don’t think we would.

A beautiful hotel situated close to the beach. This is an absolutely amazing hotel. Superb swimming pools superb staff that are very accommodating and offer superb advice when looking at local excursions.

The beach is very nice and my room was beautiful. Food was as expected, decent and beverages on point.

Highly Recommended.
