Fuengirola

Las Palmeras occupies one of the finest positions in Fuengirola - overlooking the beautiful harbour. It's not just a picturesque setting for the four star hotel, it's a great spot for tourists. The beach is just 200 metres away. And Fuengirola is right at the heart of the Costa del Sol with many of the region's great bars, restaurants and attractions to enjoy. What makes this an even better place to stay is the high standard of facilities on offer. Holidaymakers will be well looked after at Las Palmeras.

Four star facilities at Las Palmeras in Fuengirola and a beautiful harbour-side location:

From the tennis court to the games room to the gym; from the bar to the restaurant, Las Palmeras gets everything so right. This is a bustling hotel with lots of amenities and they really know how to keep their guests entertained. There's even a special holiday club for the children.

With all the attractions and entertainments on offer in Fuengirola, Las Palmeras still gives its guests an excellent restaurant, a great programme of evening entertainment and so many other great facilities.

The hotel pool is of course a highlight. With its sun terraces and pool bar it's the hotel's centre point - you can even see the marina beyond.

Guests' rooms at Las Palmeras are attractive and uncluttered with a nicely homely feel to them. They're all air conditioned and comfortably furnished. All rooms are en suite and come with a rage of amenities, including satellite TV, telephone, mini-bar, hair dryer and safety deposit box*.

All rooms have balconies too - giving you the chance to take a step back from all the fun and just enjoy the sun, the views and the relaxing ambience of Las Palmeras.

Las Palmeras is a great place to stay in an exciting, vibrant part of Fuengirola - and comes highly recommended for its great facilities.

The Local Area

Overlooking the picturesque harbour and 200 meters from the beach, Las Palmeras enjoys a privileged position in Fuengirola, right in the heart of the Costa del Sol. In this delightful location guests can truly relax and enjoy all that the hotel has to offer. Aside from lazing pool side under the Spanish sunshine, there's a great selection of facilities & day time activities to choose from. Whilst the hotel's evening entertainment is just as impressive, sampling the local colour and life couldn't be easier with plenty to see and do in the surrounding area.

Very average hotel. Bedroom facilities poor

Toiletries are a soap dispenser on the wall Towels are very very old, hard and thin Hairdryer is terrible, so weak and slow Building works behind the hotel start at 8am. And is a building site You have to pay an extra €10 per night if you want a decent/ sea view Only good thing is the water pressure in the bath

Glad to get away from UK.

Hotel in good place in the town, the out side street is a bit noisy at night with club goers but have a drink u can live with this, food very good and clean dining area with friendly staff, The pool was shut ( coudnt see why as they didnt do any repairs etc to it) This hotel will have some very serious structual repairs doing to it in the next few years as parts of the concrete overhead walkways have rotted and the rebar is visable from below which is rusty- you can see this from the rooftop pool area.

Do not book here as a family

This is NOT a family hotel and not a 4 star it’s one of the worse hotels I have ever stayed in the staff are very rude!! On arrival we wasn’t greeted I had to ask if we could check in he tuck our names and said only one room was ready as we had booked two family rooms! He didn’t give us any other information were our room was , WiFi breakfast time nothing !! We went to the first room to wait for the second one it had just a double bed in at the back of the hotel smelt like poor sewage as we got there the housekeepers said they had just finished our second room to go get the key, so my partner went down and the guy rudely said no your not going in that room yet you wait an hour!! So we just went for some lunch came back and was ready again was just a double bed with a single bed I have 3 young children with me there not going to fit in a single bed!! The room again absolutely stunk the aircon does not work like they advertise!! The walls are all cracked falling down they have cracked marble tiles that are very sharoe my 2 year old cut her foot on behind the balcony doors on the floor there’s a massive nail for someone to stand on and it would go right through your foot!! On the balcony the tiles on the floor are all broken so my children kept tripping and my poor disabled dad! The sink on day one in the bathroom I filled up to wash my face when I tried to drain it , it wouldn’t because it was blocked and smelt like poor sewage the whole hoilday we had no sink cause it wouldn’t drain and the house keepers just left it! Towels was changed but never enough for us all we was always only given 2 even though the rooms was for 4 and 3 people the breakfast I have never in my 35 years of going on holiday tasted anything like it was horrible and every guest I spoke to said the same like warm beans watery scrambled egg stale croissants was horrible would never ever return here even if was for free !! Food 0/10 Staff0/10 Rooms 0/10 Quality for money 0/10

Perfect location, otherwise I would avoid.

Lonely traveller here. My review is based on my own visit regarding the star rating of the hotel.

This is a huge hotel with a slightly outdated feeling. The welcome was friendly though a bit rushed. The room itself was very nice, spacious and clean. Only one socket (behind the tv) is a modern day minus. Every sound from the corridors and neighbouring rooms were loud and clear. My view from the balcony was horrible. What I saw was wrecked cars in a yard and a construction place. I had to keep my curtains closed for the whole visit. The carpets of the corridors really need to be replaced.

I had "Please don't disturb" sign on the handle of my door, but still my room was visited while I was gone.

Breakfast was good and plenty but I hoped something more for a vegetarian.

Location of this hotel is just perfect. It's in the middle of it all!

Obviously this place is a favourite of pensioners. I didn't see any families or people under 50 here. Will I visit again? No, I was excpecting something more for a 4 stars. I rather give my money to a smaller hosteler.
