So where do I start…. JUNE 2020, I was supposed to visit with 6 friends for a little break with the girls! due to the “GLOBAL” pandemic both Spain and the UK were on lockdown. Which also meant both airports were closed...
Initially I asked for a refund and was rudely declined NO by the so called “manager” Chris GREEN GRASS who also stated it wasn’t his fault that I couldn’t fly to Spain! I think he was implying the pandemic was my fault! Because of this He felt he had no need to refund me. After lots of emails back and fourth, Chris finally agreed to let us rebook…. HOWEVER at an extra €660! JOKE!
I waited a few weeks and made a call to the reservations department who quoted me the exact price already paid for 2021! Funny that! I took the reference number which they kept on the system and emailed Chris. He had no words for trying to rip me off and agreed to let us rebook and the same cost! Well….. 2 weeks before we were due to fly out I emailed Chris again asking to delay our hotel till later in the year or again same dates but for next year… EasyJet had cancelled our return flight and changed our outbound flight times. I explained members of our party would not be able to isolate on return due to our jobs, NHS and Civil service workers. Our government are still advising essential travel only as Spain is still in Amber. I was told No and was given Chris’s view on the UKs handling of the pandemic and how he thought “there is no problem here, you are able to get here so I will not allow a rebook for any later dates”
Chris is extremely rude! The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Reading other reviews it seems I’m not the only person to experience his poor attitude and bad practice. I emailed both aloha gardens and Chris everyday starting 14 days before what should of been of our departure date. I had 2 replys back! He had ignored me for 10 days, I believe Chris controls all the email addresses for the apartment. Aloha gardens, please get rid of your manager he is a disgrace. I suggest you use my money you refused to pay me back and sort him a customer service course!
Do not trust this company, paid extra for free cancellation before a certain date. Refused and claimed they have never done it however will give you a credit back if you pay in full (more likely will pocket all your money) I sent pictures providing evidence of their cancellation policy with what I booked and called them out on it, have never responded to numerous emails.
Do not book a holiday with this hotel Aloha Gardens. We were due to visit yet due to COVID and the current quarantine conditions are unable to make it. They have been nothing but rude and disgusting and won’t assist trying to rebook for a later date or receive a refund! Their attitude is more about how our government are doing things wrong rather than allowing us to rebook for my sisters hen do...
The manager Chris should not be a manger on the front line of a customer service business. About to lose nearly £800 which shouldn’t be acceptable in this current world pandemic.
Don’t book this apartment when you want to have a good relaxed vacation. Apartments are not clean. In the night there is a lot of noise and the service is really bad when you say something about it!!!!
You should pass many stairs for any move, very hard to carry luggages during check-in and check-out. The rooms smell hell terrible, materials are lowest quality, everything is old and damaged. especially during covid-19 pandemic stay far from this compressed complex...
if you have a child it is very dangerous to use the rooms with stairs . old bathrooms, cheapest available soap in the WC and..... in total never come back here and never offer it to someone else. stay far from it.
