Very average

Ill start with the positives:

  • cheap

*good food *nice pool area *nice building from outside *waiting staff in restaurant are good

Now for the negatives:

*rude staff on night reception and same goes to bar staff

  • room had cock roaches at night times (everynight)

*all inclusive drinks are minimal and not explained well even when i asked because of language barrier *everyone in the whole hotel was french even staff spoke it and when we speak Spanish minimal they dont reply.

All in all for the price its good as we are in marbella but nothing else to offer apart from that.

Value for money

Lovely clean hotel.. catering staff worked very hard.

Massive swimming pool and ample sun loungers. Room was of adequate size. English channels if you want to watch tv.

Food was plentiful. Only stayed for 3 nights and ate out one of those days but there was something for everyone.. we were all inclusive so drinks available all day also.

Lots of entertainment but sadly all in French.. I did read this in the reviews so it came as no surprise. Didn’t bother us at all.

Overall a really good few days away and very good value for money.

Rude and raciest. Don’t book if you’re British.

I really wouldn’t recommend staying at this hotel, especially if you are British. The room smelled like sewerage, the food was vile and gave several of our party stomach problems, the all inclusive drinks were poor and unfortunately we have just encountered a terrible experience with one of the rudest hotel staff I’ve ever had the joy of meeting. I will say, some of the reception staff have been helpful but less can be said for the restaurant staff. The hotel is mainly occupied by French people, and that’s ok however if you wanted to use the entertainment it is really just set up for the French. Not all staff understand English, which again is ok however didn’t make us feel welcome. The worst part - We have just checked out and are heading to the airport. The restaurant wasn’t open however we were told by reception staff that they will open up for us to grab a coffee/ pastries and some basic breakfast items, and this was general practice for early departures. When we went in we were greeted by a vile lady who shouted at us in Spanish, grabbed things from our hands, slammed doors and wouldn’t allow us to speak. We asked the receptionist who did try and resolve however we were told we then couldn’t go in. Annoyingly right at that time there were French hotel guests who were allowed in to use the full breakfast area. We then tried again and were again verbally abused my the member of staff. Why would they allow French customers to use the hotel services and not us? We didn’t get an answer… All of our party remained calm and we’re well behaved for the whole stay and have given them no reason to treat us differently.

They just don’t like the English here… it’s that simple.

On the positive side of things, there is a bar called buddies just up the street who served great food and drinks, also an Irish sports bar both of which we were welcomed with open arms.

Don’t come here if you’re not French.

The hotel itself was beautiful, very clean and food very good. Massive let down was the entertainment. It’s all in French. No English at all. And the animation staff just ignore you the minute they find out you speak English. They don’t engage at the poolside or include you in any games. The evening entertainment is purely all French spoken. Staff highly ignorant if you’re not French. Wouldn’t come back for this purpose. Not diverse or English speaking friendly at all. Paid a lot of money to come here and feel it’s a massive let down.

Good but French catered

We are English and went to this Spanish hotel which caters for French. We had NO problem at all. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean and a terrific layout. The food was fine. Tip: have one dish per day, then you won't get fed up. Staff was fine, I believe if you treat people with respect, it will be returned. Obviously the entertainment was French and child like, but we found an area with a nice drink and played cards which suited us as we was busy in the day. Bus stop outside, taking you to banus and and Marbella, cheap and cheerful days out. We hired a car so we went further to Ronda Estopona and overa, through the mountains. A decent walk to San Pedro, where we found a great market. A good 15 minute walk to to the beach, where there was cafes etc A few shops outside hotel but only two and also a nice pizza restaurant. We have been to the next door hotel a few times Cortijo Blanco, which caters more for British. But we never found this hotel bad at all
