Guests can get around on the shuttle (surcharge), which operates within 200 metres.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
This is an excellent hotel offering friendly services and great value. It is newly refurbished and spotlessly clean. The location is excellent with nearby access to the beach, old town and shops / restaurants. It's an ideal spot for a golfing holiday as Marbella is surrounded by lovely golf courses.
A terrible experience. Jewelry went missing from our room.
The door lock was not working properly, which meant that the room was not adequately secured. During the night, an unknown man was able to enter our room, and during the day, other people also entered the room.
After something like this, it is impossible to feel safe in this hotel. It is especially frightening to realize that a stranger can enter your room at night while you are inside.
The result was missing jewelry, enormous stress, and a completely ruined stay.
For me, the quality of a hotel is not determined only by a beautiful interior, a good location, or the number of stars. First and foremost, it means guest safety, properly functioning door locks, and the confidence that no unauthorized person can enter your room and that your personal belongings are secure.
A beautiful interior means nothing if you cannot feel safe in your own hotel room. After our experience, I cannot recommend this hotel.
Great location, good service, and a comfortable, well-equipped room. Overall, a very pleasant stay.
I stayed here with my daughter for three nights . A lovely hotel with very attentive and helpful staff . About 5 minute walk from the beach but also only 2 minutes to the lovely Marbella old town . The room are a good size and clean and tidy . Breakfast was very nice and there is also a great rooftop bar with a small pool area and sun lingers . When we visit Marbella again I will most definitely be staying at the Obal hotel
Excellent modern hotel in a great location
Óbal Hotel Marbella is a fantastic modern hotel in an excellent location, right in the heart of Marbella. The hotel is stylish, contemporary and very well maintained. The staff throughout the hotel were excellent = friendly, professional and always helpful. Breakfast was great, with a very good choice of options, and the facilities were also excellent. Overall, a really enjoyable stay and a hotel I would happily recommend.
