Nice little hotel
I was a bit apprehensive about staying with some of the negative reviews. However, we needn't have worried.
It's a lovely little family run hotel a few minutes walk from nice bars and restaurants.
There's a nice pool, around 15 sunbeds, and was reasonably quiet when we stayed.
There is ample breakfast every morning covering a wide range of tastes.
Yes it is looking a bit jaded now but the family worked so hard, clean linen and towels every day, towels available for use around the pool.
Its not the Ritz, but you're not paying for the Ritz, I thought it was very good value for money
Very disappointed- won’t be coming back
we’ve stayed at this hotel quite a few times over the years, I would say I haven’t stayed there in the last 5 years, but I just come back (May 2019) from 3 nights with my partner and was very disappointed! I don’t think they have changed or updated anything in the last 10 years. Bed sheets and towels are disgusting! Curtains have holes, walls have splash stains! And the bathroom shower is terrible! The rooms are far too basic and haven’t been modernised, nothing has been updated or looked after since it’s had new owners, the jacuzzi and sauna don’t work either! Very disappointed and won’t be coming back!
great location
Located a very short walk to the main parts of the old town, the location was excellent. Like other reviewers have said the breakfast had everything you would want or need. Luckily we had room 405 which I think is the largest of the rooms having a balcony with pool & sea view. The owners & staff were on hand should you have any requirements, but generally kept themselves in the background. The rooms were clean and while there could be some refurbishment needed shortly, we did not view the hotel as tired as per some other reviews.

Needs a refurb
This was our 3rd time at this hotel its spotlessly clean lovely breakfast but it needs a refurbishment now a bit dissapointed in the pool having no water in it as it was hot and we would have maybe had a swim its still a lovely hotel though and i would go back again

Poor Facilities
My husband bought a 4 day stay for Easter for my birthday. We have stayed here 3 times before but last year we went early April and the pool was empty. We were not informed about this and it is not highlighted on the overviews. We complained to our provider to inform them and received £18 compensation!! We didn’t want compensation just the situation to be remedied. We went 18th April this year and again the pool was empty!! How can this hotel advertise the pool, jacuzzi and sauna when clearly they are not available for use!! Most hotels in this area do not have a pool and this is why we booked it as it is needed in a hot climate!! My husband asked the rude receptionist and all she said was that it opened in May!! We have stayed at the Villa Flamenca on two occasions because of pool and hot tub amenities but the walk is further into town. That is why my husband booked this as I have knee and hip problems. Also the jacuzzi has never been available in all four times we have been there and the sauna is a shed for rotting cushions!! So when it is too hot to walk around there is nothing to cool you down around pool!! My husband asked the rude receptionist for 2 coffees one day and was told not till May!! This hotel needs a major refurbishment. We won’t be going again!! The one star is for the breakfast and the man who serves it as even though he can’t speak English he was very hard working and friendly. I have added the picture of amenities that are on notice board outside hotel and the pool itself, this explains it all .
