We came back again for the 4th time and not disappointed we love it here the staff are brilliant always happy and smiling and very helpful , nice and quiet chilled out hotel very clean and fresh great entertainment throughout the week ,close to the beach bars and restaurants ,try the retro bar brilliant there , had a great time great food good variety thankyou to all the staff for a great experience ,we will be back next year .
2nd time at Ocean Dreams and once again nothing disappointed us. From check in to check out everything about this hotel was excellent. We had a lovely pool view room overlooking the main pool. Our room had excellent air conditioning, superbly comfortable king size bed, ample cupboard space, excellent his and hers bathroom with a great shower, never ending hot water, and a fridge to keep drinks cold. Breakfast was buffet style and included hot and cold dishes, together with an additional menu with various cooked items. We did not partake in lunch so cannot comment on the menu. Evening meal was from a varied menu including various Wok options, Rice, Meat, Pasta and Fish dishes. There was some evening and daily entertainment available, along with a Spa offering various treatments, together with a Thalassotherapy pool, Sauna and Steam room and a well quipped Gym. This is an excellent hotel with very good levels of cleanliness, and staff that are both attentive and helpful. Given the high number of repeat guests we were not the only ones that absolutely loved our time here. Highly recommended and superbly managed by Javier Moreno and his team.
Had an excellent stay yet again this is a very friendly place to stay all the staff go out of there way to make your holiday an enjoyable one .we liked it that much so we've booked three weeks at Christmas. So looking forward to it
We recently stayed at H10 Ocean Dreams and, unfortunately, there were a number of issues during our stay that affected our overall holiday experience.
Room: We booked and paid for a Double Room but were allocated a disabled/accessible room on arrival. We were not expecting this and were unable to change rooms for approximately 24 hours.
When we raised this with the hotel manager, Glenn, he informed us that the possibility of being allocated a disabled/accessible room was stated in the “small print.” We have since checked the Jet2holidays information and could not find any clear wording stating that customers booking a standard Double Room could be allocated an accessible room.
The accessible bathroom also had no storage for toiletries and the walk-in shower flooded the bathroom when used.
This was extremely upsetting and took away from what should have been a relaxing start to our holiday. At the time, I was so upset that I felt I simply wanted to return home.
Pool and facilities: The pool area was not cleaned as regularly as we would have expected. We saw a robotic pool cleaner used in the pool once, but the surrounding pool area still did not appear to be cleaned regularly enough.
The sister hotel across the road had its swimming pool closed for three days, resulting in guests from that hotel being allowed to use the pool and facilities at H10 Ocean Dreams.
This made our pool area considerably busier, with problems finding sunbeds and the outside restaurant becoming extremely busy at lunchtime.
One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was for its peaceful and tranquil atmosphere, so unfortunately this was affected during our stay.
Food – excellent: On a very positive note, the food at the hotel was excellent and was definitely one of the highlights of our stay.
Breakfast was continental buffet style and also able to order off the menu, with a good choice of food.
In the evening, the starter and dessert were available from the buffet, while the main course was ordered from the menu. We found the food to be excellent throughout our stay, with the quality and choice of meals being a real positive.
Overall: Although there were several issues which unfortunately affected our enjoyment of the holiday, the food was excellent and the hotel has friendly staff
With improvements to the room allocation process, pool-area cleaning this could be a very enjoyable hotel.
We were moved here from ocean dunas after moving rooms due to air conditioning problems. I think H10 in general have an air conditioning issue where the air con unit is central and not for individual rooms even after moving here could not get temperature to drop below 21.5 no matter what setting it was on . That being said lovely hotel rooms were more spacious than the dunas . There is an issue with beds around the pool if you don't get your towels out early enough you have no chance of a bed. Pool is bigger than the dunas staff are excellent everywhere was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was nice although less choice than the dunas you order cooked items from a menu and it feels very rushed literally no time for a tea or coffee before they are wanting to take your order. On balance I would pick H10 ocean dunas better Breakfast and more relaxed feel. Although I feel the air conditioning issue is an ongoing problem so I would seriously consider going here again i wasn't the only guest with air conditioning issues either.
