I recommend the hotel, good staff, good food, I really enjoyed my week, and will be booking to go back next year . With all the COVID they had everything in control , the rooms was really nice, loads of room in them, very clean. The hotel is very clean, was out all the time cleaning.
Close to an outstanding experience.
We’d been to this hotel in 2017, and decided after much debate that we’d rather go to a hotel we knew with the whole COVID thing still hanging over us.
First to the good / great points. The restaurant/ bard stuff did an outstanding job...
Tables were tidied & cleaned the moment a guest vacated them and organisation in the restaurant was excellent. Despite the restaurant being closed, they did their best to provide a varied menu at the buffet everyday and the quality of food was very high.
The only real downside, was that we were allocated a room with broken air con and a broke fridge. I have to question whether they knew these were broken, and as we didn’t arrive until 11pm, knew we wouldn’t be able to complaint until the next morning. We were eventually given a replacement room after 2 days, but during that time the room was unbearable. Clearly they can’t fix or con instantly & it’s the guests that break it, but as the hotel want full I can’t imagine there were rooms available that were fully functioning.
Having decided to visit Fuerteventura for the 3rd time in as many years, and Corralejo for the second my grown up daughters also booked. The hotel put us next to each other, which I didn't expect to happen. They even had the hotel restaurant open for us when we arrived at 2230hrs. The hotel itself has had modernisation work done to it while the island struggled with the lockdowns emposed apon it. Its a 1 minute walk to the main Street, with various shops, and only another 5 till you hit the bars and restaurants. The restaurant has long opening times to accodate everyone and there is always plenty of choice...
We had a couple of meals out, not because we didn't like the meals, but almost because we had had so much of it, we just needed something different. We went all inclusive, so I hope you like your drinks strong, not that that makes any difference down town as measures are more of a guess, usually larger the longer the night goes on. The staff, well, what can I say that's negative, nothing!! They are brilliant, happy and friendly, to the point of it being personnel pride that you are ok, all of the time. Our tour rep was on hand several times through the week and we booked a few trips, mainly so my kids could see the island. I can't recommend fuerteventura enough, I can't recommend correlecjo and I definitely can't recommend this hotel enough. We will definitely be returning.
The hotel itself was lovely. The room was very large and modern. The swimming pool near the pool bar was great...
The entertainment was okay. Three live acts during our 8 night stay. The location was good. We went all-inclusive and the food and beverage choice was very poor. Would not recommend this option. The food was barely warm and the choice of dishes was disappointing. The red wine and sangria were undrinkable. The house spirits were not great either.
What an amazing hotel to stay at! From the moment we arrived we knew we had made the right decision. After a long flight we arrived at 11:30pm. After being checked in we were told the we had missed dinner but that a meal had been prepared for us and was waiting for us in the hotel restaurant! What an amazing personal touch and much needed after a long travel...
Thank you to the kitchen staff who prepared this for us it was greatly appreciated. Breakfast, lunch and dinner times were all amazing. The food was varied and there was something for everyone. Even my fussy 9yr old found lots to eat and enjoy it too. Food was plentiful! The pools were amazing. Really spacious and clean and there were a lot of beds available. Our room was spacious and clean with a nice contemporary touch! The cleaners came every other day without fail and alway left plenty of Toilet roll and towels! There is an “Animation Team” on site who make your stay so much fun. The poolside games and waterpolo was brilliant as was the evening entertaining they provided. They really did do a spectacular job of making our stay really fun!! The location was faultless too. Literally on the corner of a high street but without the noise. There is a multi-storey complex and a spar shop less than a minute away and a small supermarket less than 2 minutes away. We cannot wait to return!!
Just for reference- the water park was not open.
Highly recommend a visit to Lobos island for sightseeing and getting some amazing photos!
