- Labranda Corralejo Village

The recently newly designed and fully renovated LABRANDA Corralejo Village today shines in modern elegance and became a beautiful and charismatic hotel on Fuerteventura. The All Inclusive program invites to an easy going holiday. The dunes of Corralejo and the rest of the unique island are worth a visit, not only for surf enthusiasts but also for families who enjoy the island and its year around perfect weather conditions.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Firstly the positives. The hotel is in a great location approximately 45 mins drive by coach from the airport (*depending on your tour operator - we were the 11th hotel on the drop off list and it probably took 90 mins, despite driving past the hotel several times). It is right in the heart of Corralejo with lots of shops, bars and restaurants just minutes away. The Plaza has a few nice places to eat if you decide to venture out. The majority of the staff are very friendly and helpful, one young man in particular whose name I didn't get was especially helpful and in a natural way, always went above and beyond to try and help (Tall with dark curly hair and facial hair). The hotel is quite modern and the rooms more than adequate. Me and my daughter stayed in a rear-facing room but I did manage to have a peak in the larger pool facing rooms which were much better.
The negatives. The food in all inclusive hotels is quite hit and miss in my experience and I should point out, I'm not someone that will just eat in the hotel everyday just because it's all inclusive, We stayed for 5 nights and eat out on 2 occasions. But, I would say this rates on the lower end in terms of what I've experienced in similar 4 star rated hotels. There aren't enough staff, which means that often there isn't enough food and you are waiting for more to come out (there is one person that cooks pizzas and pasta for the entire hotel). On Thursday lunchtime I wanted Spaghetti Bolognese, there was none left in the bowl, just a tiny bit of sauce with a couple of chunks of bolognese. I asked how long until there would be more available and the lady working on the station responded by putting some more spaghetti in the tiny bit of sauce, mixing it around and then serving it to me, it was so dry and literally had 2 chunks of bolognese. Food can be quite repetitive despite their being themed nights and generally not great quality. The drinks machines often run out of orange juice and just pours water (this happened) or the fizzy drink dispenser has run out of coke and just pours fizzy water (this happened), or the coffee machine is out of service (this happened). All of the meals are at set times, if you like to go later as I do to avoid the initial stampede, then you can be made to feel quite rushed, when it gets within 15 minutes of the set time, then a member of staff comes around whilst you're still eating to tell you that the restaurant will be closing. Drinks at the pool bar are a particular sore point. I went to the bar on the first day to get a drink, only to be told that I couldn't have one unless I pay a deposit for the cups. I didn't take any cash with me, I just use Apple Pay. I had to walk into Corralejo to find a cash machine, none of which appeared to have any cash, in the end I gave up and went the whole of the first day without being able to have a drink from the pool bar, despite having already paid for the all inclusive drinks package. I did manage to find a machine with cash on the second day but found this to be incredibly unfair and unhelpful. Note to the hotel: These small things can make a big difference to a persons experience, this set the tone early on for the rest of my holiday and could have easily been fixed.
All in all, it's not the best and it's not the worst. If you're expecting a 3 star experience then you will be perfectly happy, but if you're expecting a 4 star experience as I was then I think you may be a little disappointed. I went to Lanzarote last year in a similar rated hotel at a similar price and the whole experience was far superior to this. I wouldn't stay there again.
If anyone is looking for a good hotel with good food this place is not for you.
The room was dirty, dust in the corners of the rooms with hair. Broken sofa and mirror. Air conditioning barely working and is very outdated.
Food at the hall was okay at most, the best thing they had was the pizza which was a disappointment as anytime I tried new food it was never good, lacking in either flavouring or the dish was undercooked. The cooks clearly don't know what they are doing. I had food poisoning from one of the dishes, I was on the toilet all day feeling extremely sick.
The pool was okay but all the other guests would leave their towels for the full day on the loungers and then come back at 4pm. This made it impossible to find a place to lay down if you actually wanted to stay all day by the pool. The hotel staff did nothing about this.
The gym facilities were awful, everything in the gym is broken and clearly nothing is ever cleaned in that place.
The cherry on top was the last day of our stay we got robbed while we were sleeping. Worst thing about this was that none of the staff were fazed about this, they acted like it never happens, however when the security showed up they didnt seem to care. 2 of our bags were stolen that had our passports inside and our credit cards. Who ever it was that broke into our room while we were sleeping clearly knows the layout and knows what time the security do their rounds. Worst experience ever, do not come to this hotel.
My experience at bluesea corrajelo hotel couldn’t of gone any better it was perfect the staff were nice the entrainment were nice especially Miguel and Jessica keeping the children entertained all day and also in the evening the food was lovely the pool was really nice one of my favourite hotels I’ve been too definitely would come back.
I stayed at this hotel for a week with my parents and we had a pleasant stay. The staff were all friendly and helpful, especially the young man on reception who helped us a lot on the night we arrived with enquiries so a special thank you to him. The hotel itself was really nice with a lot of different activities such as water polo, a pool table, a pingpong table and entertainment services. When we arrived in our room we found the room floor to be very very dirty so I would advise wearing some sort of footwear on the floor to avoid getting dirty socks or feet. Everyday we came back into our room after the cleaning service and we found many different things that were not cleaned like the floor, the shower, the towels not being changed and the bins not being emptied. We also found piles of dirt on the balcony as well as on the stairs and near the front door. For a high rated hotel like this you would definitely expect the cleanliness to be a lot better overall. The pool was really nicely heated to cool you off but not too cold. The pool water was extremely clean and cleaned every morning but the only issue was the walls and floor of the pool being very slimy and dirty. There were many confusions between people in the pool and the lifeguards as they all seem to have different rules about jumping in, balls and floats which confused many people each different day. Just for a helpful reminder, all life’s guards insisted there were no inflatables allowed. The entertainment was not amazing but the man who does it is really nice and definitely a lot more friendlier than the other entertainers who we found quite rude and seemed like they had little time for anyone. The restaurant had a few different items but not a wide range of variety, especially for children. A factor that really put me off eating in the restaurant were the guests who went up to pick food up with their hands which is so incredibly unhygienic and gross. Theres a few times where the restaurant workers seemed to notice people doing this especially with the desserts but just turned a blind eye to it which is wrong. Theres one day I saw a middle aged child go up to pick sweets off the sweet section and hand the tongue rested on her lips and then dropped it back in the sweets and picked them up with her fingers instead. I find this so disgusting especially whilst you’re sat eating the food people have been touching throughout the night. The generic queuing system most people follow was out of the window as there were people just pushing you out the way whilst you’re in the queue to get their food quicker and rudely. The drink system works really well as you pay €1 euro per cup in the day by the pool and when returning the cups you get the money back. They only do 2 cocktails for the whole day and change them over each day which i’ve never seen anywhere else but seems to work really well. Checkout time was 12:00pm but we did not get picked up until 5pm so the receptionist allowed us to keep the room until 3pm with a charge of €30 which was a great addition. There is free wifi provided throughout the hotel.
We have stayed here lovely location . The animation team Jessica and Miguel made us feel very welcome and kept the kids and adults entertained . The foam party was a highlight of the holiday. The kids loved the daily kids club, mini disco and face painting . Loved it so much wanted to go daily. Lovely hotel and friendly staff . Would highly recommend hotel.
