This hotel is located in the immediate vicinity of Sotavento Beach. A range of nightclubs and restaurants can be found in the area, while the airport is located roughly 65 kms from the hotel. The modern hotel features gardens and wonderful views over the sea. Business travellers are welcome to take advantage of the conference facilities and the public Internet connection. Beyond expectations!

Having had several holidays cancelled we booked this one last minute just to get away somewhere warm. So pleased we did. Short wait at reception (for which we received apologies - several coaches had arrived at once - we were late anyway as our coach had broken down)...

Although our room not ready, we could leave our luggage and go into lunch straightaway. Yes all food is buffet style which may not suit everyone but as hotel was not at full capacity and evening meal times were staggered this was not really a problem in terms of maintaining space etc. Strict rules apply in Spain and if you are not prepared to take these on board then don't go. Masks at all times other than when sitting and eating and in the pool or on sunbed. Hotel kept spotlessly clean. Inside table sizes no bigger than four settings. (Outside could be a bit larger). The food on offer some of the best I have had at an all inclusive hotel - plenty of choice of fresh vegetables, salads, fruit and fresh fish each night. Always at least two pasta options and also noodles. I am not a meat eater, so cannot comment on quality of this, but plenty of vegetarian options. Our experience of obtaining wine was not that of previous reviewers - yes you did have to ask but we were always served quickly and with a smile.
We had upgraded our room to a side sea view but would agree rooms a little on the small side given the price paid for this. The air conditioning was quiet but effective and useful having a fridge in the room. Bed large and very comfortable and bathroom quite spacious (in comparison to size of room). Dancing inside still not permitted so evening entertainment limited to watching different styles of dancing (Spanish, modern, Bollywood) and quizzes and even a Bingo session! Not to everyone's taste I appreciate but a bit of fun nevertheless. There are also a number of daytime activities including aqua yoga (a first for me and great for the core) and aqua gym as well as dancing lessons. We were the only ones participating in the latter initially and ended up having a private salsa instruction out on the terrace. Shout out to Rebekah for her patience with us! The hotel is set in lovely grounds which are well kept, and has direct access to a sandy beach (do note however the sunbeds are operated independently and a daily charge of 15euros - in cash - applies). Also the beach is not private although we did not find it that crowded and were often entertained by the cute chipmunks that live in the rocks underneath the hotel. They will appear if you use peanuts as a bribe. Tips: Do get up early and take a walk along the path above the beach to watch the sun rise - totally worth it. Do book your evening meal sittings on your first day if you want to eat before 9pm - the earlier sittings book out quickly. You can book your times for the whole week in advance. Do download the hotel app on your first day so you can book your meals. Keep an eye on the interactive board situated at the bottom of the stairs by the restaurant as this gives information about activities etc and you can book direct via this. Improvements? Bottled water only available in glass bottles with cap tops so you need a bottle opener if taking them to your room or make sure you have them opened first. If you need bottled water in plastic bottles (with screw caps) these can be bought in the shops in the hotel lobby. Not sure upgrade to side sea view worth it as although we could see a little of the sea most of our view was of the side access road and neighbouring hotel.

great setting

Negatives and positives for this hotel great location on the beach 3 good sized pools one for kids plus little paddling pools for the young ones .Food always good great selection at each meal plus loads of sea food on offer great deserts to . drinks on all inclusive mostly branded but you have to ask for them or you get the cheaper version cocktail bar run separately at pool bar and night time really good to .Now the negatives check in a joke man behind the counter had no clue we were family group of 8 with 4 rooms took forever with no information given made us go to dinner before giving us our keys . Pool bar not open till 11oclock shuts at 7 o clock when proper bar in the hotel opens only one bar at a time open...

you get a towel card plus two cards to change your towel for two weeks never known this before usually change on a daily basis plus elderly pool guard in charge of towels is so rude and arrogant .aircon is rubbish Alacarte is not great to service is crap wrong meals brought food is similar to resteraunt not any better .The one thing you find is no waiter service anywhere apart from alacarte . in the resteraunt u can get your own soft drinks and beer try getting wine off the table setters is nigh on impossible and no other drinks on offer .Now to covid you have to wear a mask at all times in the hotel apart from eating and drinking and when walking in the hotel grounds which is all good and is polced big time by the staff but as for anything else nothing is in place buffet meals at all times everyone touching serving spoons plates and cutelry probaly touched several times by staff all food served by staff and not one of them wearing gloves at any time plus staff walking by high fiving kids to .Then at the end of your holiday checkout is at 120clock when your band is cut and all inclusive ends unless you pay more money to carry it on which is a joke when you arrive late initially .

Best holidays ever

We just came back from our holidays in H10 Tindaya. At first I was a bit sceptical about booking this hotel as thought was bit small, and being on holidays to other islands wasn’t really sure but omg how glad I did! Amazing people, food is incredible ( I’m Spanish and my parents came to visit for 4days and they loved it), beach amazing , best beach ever and the oasis of calm and listening to the sea every day is just incredible, I can’t recommend it more. We totally fall in love with this hotel and all the people who make it work...

Where oh where has my kettle gone?

Arrived at the H10 Tindaya on Saturday evening the 11th September, around 20:45. Asked for a kettle to be delivered to the room. Ok they said, no problem...

As of 17:55 12th September, it still hasn't been delivered. Been to reception twice, three phone calls.

Makes you wonder that if they can't get something this simple right, what else are they getting wrong? Room 544.

On arrival to the hotel was told our room wasn’t ready which is disappointing when you have been travelling for nearly 12 hours with young children. Was told by reception that if we grabbed some lunch in the restaurant for half hour it would be ready after. This wasn’t the case and when I said this is disappointing was told abruptly by reception that check in is 3pm and they have to take longer to clean with covid so it’s not their fault...

My parents who travelled with us room was ready straight away so not sure knowing we were arriving both couldn't be ready This was the kind of customer service unfortunately we received from majority of staff throughout our trip. It was almost like you’re lucky to be here with covid so just get on with it. Very few members of staff spoke good English and there was a definite language barrier. The hotel is lovely and kept very clean. No complaints about the food although would have been good to be told the Route 66 only opened Friday and Saturday on arrival as by time I came to book was very full although I did complain to reception and they squeezed us in but at a much later time that would have liked as early flight the next day. Mikes coffee shop which was really looking forward to only opened at night! And the drinks truck was open once during our stay on a Saturday. First holiday since lockdown and was very much looking forward to it but was shocked at how rude some staff was and thought that let the hotel down massively.
